I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ that I hated to use so spent so much time in the past 3 years looking for a e-reader/e-note taker tablet I could write on that did not have Samsung Notes as what happened with that software was every time I checked the charge level on the pen it opened the Samsung NOTES app and I hated that so much I disabled it. So the ONLY reason I am considering this tablet is because of the NFC chip in it that I would like to use with a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor I have on my arm to manage my diabetes. When I was looking for a tablet with NFC capability, this Samsung Active4 Pro is the biggest tablet that does have an NFC chip in it. I would defitneily NOT get the pervious Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 version as that is only an inch larger then the Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) cell phone I currently own and use for my sensor reading on my arm which I consider way too small for use of Internet searches etc. I find it to be too small, at 6.8" Could you tell me whether this larger 10.1" tablet with NFC chip in it it would work with my use of the Freestyle Libre 2 sensors I put on my arm? I use a cell phone with that capability right now and the problem is the screen is only 6.8" and it is way too small to see things with out a magnifying glass, so that is why I am considering getting this larger Samsung tablet. I really liked your video and it has me really considering it. So could you tell me whether the NFC chip in it is the same type of NFC chip usually put in cell phones? I have another question. Is it also possible to use it as a phone if one did put a SIM card in it or would it only be relegated to using it as a data access to the internet? At the moment, on the cell phone I use, I do not use a SIM card and only use the Internet over Wi-Fi as I do have a home network.
