What penetration issues? I've passes CWB mig certification 4 times now with this exact technique. Simple and effective with the right setting I run 27v and 550 IPM with 0.35 wire
It seems as though making mig “pretty-passes” are video worthy, how come they never break the coupons against the root on video??? The answer is that most won’t be pretty!! LOL
I weave just like this on structural steelwork and everything holds. Plus the line running down the centre of his weld shows that its a good weld anyway
Its a good technique for build up. But its not penetrating very well. You are welding more on top of the puddle than infront. So the risk of having LOF is greater than when staying infront of the puddle. And leaning the gun that much also creates a risk of pulling oxygen into the gas, creating pores.

Adding volts increases the amps... Really no need to increase it either. Maybe to straighten the bevels the slightest but we're talking 1-3 volts tops.

One thing that a og welder taught me, every gap in between the pattern is fracture point, the tighter the pattern , the stronger the weld, going straight gives the best resistance to the weld , but overall that’s looking good

Plate Thickness, wire diameter, position of weld ,length of time you actually have to weld the job up can all lead to variations in wire speed _voltage and amps
I use a pausing technique makes the same design but I don’t go back into the puddle once’s it’s cold and I would have turned that heat up more I would have ran it on 25.6 and 300 wire speed it just wets in smooth

I would rather use pulse or spray transfer on that plate. 10mm plate is not for short arc. That technique is ok for something, but its not good for penetration it only makes weld good looking.

Cuando es un proyecto asi manda la empresa que te contrato para el trabajo a espertos en soldadura aun que se vea bien y lleves tiempo soldando te puedes equivocar me acuerdo que le echavan un polvo despues un espray tipo transparente que ahi salia donde le iso falta soldadura ya que se ai valia una buena feria el proyecto de unos buenos melones wn el tiempo que estuve en la empresa el patrón se fue a dubai y a otros países se compro dos carros mas aparte camionetas ya que no contaba con el pasaporte tube que demostrar nose que cosa para que pudiera salir a viajar ... Edificación metalica se llama el taller nose si aun tenga el apellido o ya lo quitaron era del bosque.

It's a solid weld. But, to make videos and brag about your welds you should bump that wire up and get rid of all that undercut. And convex it a little more. Stop weaving back and forth. Run it smooth without waver.

This method is called "Reciprocating" or in another way "Forward-backward".
We call it whipping. It's a nono with solid wire for obvious reasons.

Я конечно не опытный сварщик, но по моему он варил сварочный шов, а не металл, там вроде нужно вперед уводить горелку а не наваливать на шов металла

Helium is helium IE it's element so unless they are mixing other gases into your party balloons I don't know what your on about.
Helium isn't an inert gas usually C02 or argon or a mix should be used depending on the materials being welded
