I love the people trying to compare who is better between guys like Sfogli, James, Petrucci... etc etc. But the truth is that when you've reached the lofty heights that these virtuoso's have, there's naught but the breadth of a hair to differentiate. Marco is my favorite guitarist, and not by a small margin, but guys like James and Petrucci and Vai and Abasi and throw any other name in there you want are so beyond my ability to emulate that it really doesn't matter.
When I saw this for the first time, the first thought that went through my head was imagining this being titled "Anything you can do, I can do better", then in my head hearing Marco say "Hey, watch this" and then proceed to make the room explode by playing Still Hurts.
I just LOVE how he wrote the keyboard solo first at the end of Never Forgive Me and THEN decided "hm, what if I learn and perform that kickass solo ON THE GUITAR ALSO?!" xD

To the guy that commented sfogli is like satch i beg to differ. Sflogli is waaaaay better than satch and nothing like him. Satch helped move guitar forward like all the greats before him but even satch sounds too much like VH. Sfogli sounds like a petrucci with soul and he writes very catchy songs..
