Really enjoyed watching your videos, it's really nice that you still use lots of hand tools. Learned lots of tricks and I think I'm going to use with your permision your recipe/precedure of shellac and tru oil finish
Greets from Spain
Cheers!
Extremely interesting video. This is a one-of-a-kind guitar and whoever ends up being the owner is very lucky. The Luthier who made this beautiful guitar is incredibly talented. Hats off to you then and cheers and thanks again for such an inspiring video.
It turned out great! Can't wait to hear the demo!
Thank you!
Nice job. She looks good.
Like my triangle file set for crowning frets, too. Feel like I am in complete control.
Wow.... well done
Absolute artistry!
I’d chop my left leg off to have you make a guitar for me😅

Great tip with the nut file as well
I stained my walnut body blue without using a pore filler,is there any way to get it out?
Finally a demo hahahahha
Looking forward to knowing how it sounds
Haha you're never going to let this go! There might be an archtop demo in a couple months too 👀
Thanks¡ no pressure
With the EVO Gold, do you over radius the frets like you would with a standard fret wire?

Yes I was joking. I was offered a job there, but turned them down
What red stain did you use? I love the color.
Did you use any glue for the frets?
Been there, done that with the screwdriver slip. Empathy, dude.
It only ever happens after they've been finished too. Its almost as if they become magnets

this kind of stuff is why working on electronics in good condition I almost always add a buffer between my tools and the body other than between what the tool needs access to
Doritos brand Shellac.. Do you find classic mild the best or is hot worth a mention?
Great videos, thanks for taking the time to do them!
I like it spicy

Studied in Glasgow for two years and then Newark for another two
