❤❤Today is July 14th, 2024❤and I am so happy I found your video ❤ my hair is your length now ❤❤it is growing back from having breast cancer twice ❤this is a wonderful beautiful way of wearing our own natural hair ❤thank you ❤ God's continued love and blessings to you and everyone who sees this video in Jesus name Amen ♥❤ 🙏 ❤ ❤
I use to always do them. They were mini braids. They were really small. The takedown is something. Yet and still, I rock the style. As a regular, two months at a time. Wore mini braids for one whole year haha.
Finally - somebody whose mini braids look like mine when I’ve finished! 👏🏾 I do love this style tho, makes my hair grow quickly since there’s no manipulation ⭐️
Miss Lola you did a great job. I would love to learn how to do these natural braids myself as well. I actually pay to get my hair naturally braided just like yours once a month,I sure do.
You're gorgeous I'm subscribing! BTW this is exactly how my hair is ow. Long term protective style all 2023! IK i'm 2yrs late sis lol. Love how neat you did them they look amazing
OMG same! I'm doing this again, going back to braiding my hair! Will be great, so I will be able to easily wear my hair flat under my headband wig from Amazon to change up my look! 😁 I've currently got my hair in cornrows atm, but once they have been in for 2 months, I'll go back to braiding my hair into mini braids (when hopefully my hair is a centimeter or so longer!)
Lol, my hair is 2 inches and I was doing that happy face that you were doing on my last braid too 😆. I'vedecided mini braids are it (I have hands in hair syndrome, so easy to take out twists are just counter productive), so I'm kinda dreading when my hair gets longer, but maybe extending how long I wear it for would be a good compromise
Oh it’s a syndrome? I knew it was called something lol ughhh it’s so nerve racking cause you try to use different techniques to keep your hands out but it don’t work 😩😩😩
This is amazing! I am really inspired but not sure about +7 hours of work. Please do share with us how you maintain it and moisture your hair. That will be the deciding factor for me.
ThuliMari I know it’s a week late and the question isn’t directed towards me, but I maintain my mini braids by sleeping on a satin pillow or using a satin bonnet so it doesn’t frizz up while I sleep. I also spray mists of water on my braids and fenugreek oil so my hair doesn’t get dry, I also put castor oil on my scalp (not my hair). Hope this helps a bit!
You did them very neat. Please tell me you let them last more than two weeks because of the amount of time you spent braiding your hair lol :D When I do my own mini braids they never come out like yours because I don't take my time as much like you did, haha....
Same thing happens to me. I think technique matters and the size of the section. In denser parts of your hair, you may have to make the braids smaller, etc. Also, it falls better when it's properly moisturised.
Thankfully, where I am, I can have them done for about $4 and taken down for $1. I'll try them out, and maybe make them my signature style for a while. Really affordable!
I love how neat you did it.
DNVlogsLife TV thank you.
I really need to do this because this lockdown is killing me 😂😂
Waka Girl I agree, it was necessary!
Yhhh and I’m putting my hands in my hair too much LOL doing this tomorrow❤️thanks LOLA
That’s what I’m bout to do once I take my weave out 💀

Your mini plaits looks so neat! Love it
Jovial Juanita thank you so much☺️

If I'm not wearing it for 3 months then it's not worth it joor. U did a good job.
Mini braids have been growing out my hair so much ☺️☺️☺️ I'm on my 3rd set this year, almost at armpit length. Taking my current ones out in October 😁
Tracey Banda wow October! That’s a long time, I wish I could leave mine in that long.
How long have you ever kept your mini braids before undoing them
I've really been thinking about doing mini braids but when I think about how much I'll cry, I start deciding against it, but this has gingered me
belle_graciaz I can relate, I think it took me longer to think about doing them😂sending you all the motivation you need😘
Doing this style all 2021. I usually wash my hair while in the braid then re-braid it. It’s very easy and quick.
Love it 💜🙏🏾
Miss Lola you did a great job. I would love to learn how to do these natural braids myself as well. I actually pay to get my hair naturally braided just like yours once a month,I sure do.
You did a great job. I could never do this by myself. I did about 9 big braids today and I didn’t find it funny 😄
Onyinye Elochukwu thank you! It was so much work honestly😫
I'm the same way😂. I just put in 30 twists with crazy parts and you couldn't tell me nothing! She did a great job!

Tish Payne true! It’s such a throwback style!

I did this but with twist and it lasted me 3 weeks as well and it’s much less work 😭 but yours came out beautiful!!! 😍😍
Chiedu Okeleke thank you☺️ I usually do mini twists but I wanted to try something different, I hope I can leave them in for up to 3 weeks.

Nice protective style. Loving it! I did micro mini twist on my hair and added kinky hair to the ends. Hoping it will last me at least three weeks.
Ruth Ann Greaves thank you♥️ I’m hoping these last me 3 weeks too.
Lol, my hair is 2 inches and I was doing that happy face that you were doing on my last braid too 😆.

Beautiful job! How long did you keep this style in?

Nice and neat!
Did you stretch your hair
New subscriber! Love your braids. I just did this style on my natural hair. God bless❤🙏🏽
You did them very neat. Please tell me you let them last more than two weeks because of the amount of time you spent braiding your hair lol :D When I do my own mini braids they never come out like yours because I don't take my time as much like you did, haha....
Whenever I do braids on my hair they lift up for some reason, do you know why?
Same thing happens to me. I think technique matters and the size of the section. In denser parts of your hair, you may have to make the braids smaller, etc. Also, it falls better when it's properly moisturised.
You might be braiding underhanded. Try to reverse the order so the two outside sections cover the middle section when you first start the braid.
Oouu that’s luvly bbe
Temitayo Fraser thanks boo
Please do a video on how you maintain them 😩 mine frizz up so fast
I just uploaded the takedown video, shared how I maintained. They do frizz up quick.
Beautiful ❤️
Abdulkareem Zainab thank you☺️
God bless ❤️
Does your hair grow fast like this? Is it better to add extensions?
The style can aid growth, since its protective and low manipulation. Adding extensions is a personal preference.
Nice!!
The parts 😍😍😍😍
Linda Osuntade thanks b😊
hi, you are you beautiful
Waoh I'm a new viewer already subbed I liked ur video kip it up
How did you have the patience to sit and do all this 😅.
I like this size of braid on you. How many braids did you have if you even counted or remember?
As I'm watching this I'm just thinking of the takedown 😭😭😭 but the hair is really beautiful😍
heyyitsjoshie still dreading the takedown 😂 thanks babe.
Love those braids, but i dont think my arms will survive
🖤🖤🖤🖤
I just wanna know if I braid my hair like this who is willing to take it down??
Anybody ? No? Ok😩
The takedown process isn’t THAT bad lol
plus you get a nice braid out once you take it out lol
Dont worry about that, its actually easier than braiding it😂 make sure its not very dry
Sad to say I still haven’t tried it but yet still watching these videos 😔lmao I need to just go bald low maintenance
Thankfully, where I am, I can have them done for about $4 and taken down for $1. I'll try them out, and maybe make them my signature style for a while. Really affordable!
If I try this at home I’ll paralyze na 😂😂😂😫😫
Lmaoooo😂😂😂 you’re killing me
WHY CANT MINES LAY DOWN WTF
mist them with water and put on a scarf until it dries. that should make them lay down
#dead @ "longsuffering". the takedown will be tribulation then.
JoAnna Thee Human Mechanic 😂😂😂 I pray oh.
