  • Hi! I’m Lady! If you’re new to my channel, I am a Filipino expat in Dubai. I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia last year. With God’s grace, I am recovering well.
On this vlog, we spent a morning in Old Dubai. Ed’s friend visited us during his 15 hour layover via FlyDubai. We applied the transit visa for him at FlyDubai office 1 week before his arrival. 48-hour transit visa costs AED 95.
We had breakfast at Arabian Tea House. We love bringing our guests here. I think it’s a great way to introduce Dubai - how it still retains its culture despite having all those megastructures. We ordered Egyptian Breakfast tray (AED 78). It’s enough for 3 people to share.
Then we rode the Abra or traditional wooden boat to cross the creek. Regular abra ride costs AED 1 only, but with my condition we opted to rent it for AED 20.
We went on a staycation in Rove La Mer. Finally! We booked it during the AED 99 promotion. Rove La Mer is a such cool hotel with lots of fun activities.
Thank you for watching. If you like this video, leave me a comment, a thumbs up and hit that subscribe button. See you on next vlog!
