21 jumpstreet was my ishh back then coming from elder millennial. This was the show that put Johnny depp on the map! But during the later seasons, Johnny aka tom hanson was getting very irritated and you can tell around season 3 and 4. But alot of guest stars had cameos on 21 jumpstreet like Josh Brolin, Blair Underwood, Kurtwood Smith, Vince Vaughn, Christina applegate, jada pinkett-smith. Etc. Not to mention the theme song was a 10/10!

The show tackled a lot of serious issues including: rape, AIDS, racism, satanic cults, abortion, gun control, drugs, human trafficking, gambling, prostitution, kidnapping, child abuse, police corruption, steroids, arson, extortion, organized crime, underage drinking, teen pregnancy, pornography, education, homelessness, religion, gangs, drunk driving, sexual abuse, as well as the more common police investigations of murders-murders for hire, thefts and burglaries. It also has a few lighthearted and off beat episodes including: How I Saved The Senator, Chapel Of Love, Wooly Bullies, A.W.O.L., Back From The Future, Awomp-Bomp-Aloobomp-Aloop-Bamboom, School's Out, What About Love?, Old Haunts In The New Age, Fear And Loathing With Russell Buckins and The Dreaded Return Of Russell Buckins. Many people don't like season 5 but it had some very solid episodes including: Just Say No! High, Poison, Coppin' Out, Homegirls, Bad Day At Blackburn, Wasted, The Education Of Terry Carver, Number One With A Bullet, Equal Protection, The Girl Next Door, Brothers and the series finale Second Chances. 21 was quite ahead it's time for the kind of show it was especially when you consider the fact in an age of segregated TV the shows characters were racially diverse, something unheard of at the time.
It was still a very good show after Johnny Depp left and had a lot of good episodes in season 5 including: Just Say No!
