this honestly annoys me every time I see a RUclipsr home theater setup! they always put speakers in closed shelves or boxes! speakers especially ones with spatial audio needs as much breathing room as possible! I would recommend if possible to have it free floating on a different plane then the tv itself so the tv won't cause an echo bounce either so the tv should be flat on the wall as much as possible and the soundbar needs to be moved forward a little so that if it has top speakers it could send the sounds over passing the tv to correctly hit the wall!! or if its on a tv stand get one that is wide enough so the tv could be backed little and if the tv stand isn't tall enough get a wood rising shelf to put the tv on so that the sound bar or speakers could be lower then the tv but forward enough so that the sounds could passthrough it! I know not everyone can hear the difference or don't care but these things always annoyed me about setups lol
Definitely would love to get speakers like this when I move out soon to my own place. Bose has one of the best Soundbars you can get in the whole market. Great video.

Great review and your home theater setup looks so clean and classy! We have the bar and bass module, but not the surrounds. What are your thoughts on the surrounds? Do they add a lot to the immersive experience?

That box is absolutely defeating the purpose of the soundbar smh.... the upfiring speakers and side firing speakers are going to be reverberated inside that box..... take that thing out of there and I promise you... you'll think you just got your audio upgraded.

Its better not to put your soundbar inside the wood so that the sounds of your upfiring speakers cant be blocked.👍

Jenna, doesn't the top of the box that the sound bar is in ruin the Atmos since it can't bounce off the celling?
I guess having real satellite speakers helps mitigate that. If the bar is sold standalone, placement would be more critical.

your not getting Atmos because you put the sound bar in a box and that stops the upward firing speakers from bouncing the sound off the ceiling
