    One of my favourite albums ever, and I'm a indie and rock person. I was in indie bands and a oasis tribute. The noel in the band handed me a CD like it was a drug deal. Whisper in my ear "the new take that album, fucking brilliant". Went home put the headphones on and was blown away. Absolute quality.

      They have learned a lot more about how to make music over the many years they have been going. I never liked Take That in the 1990s but since their reforming in 2006 I think that they have produced some really interesting music and songs. They have risen above the boy band label now!

    So, here is the answer to why Gary is called "the captain". If Gary wasn't always organising everything, I don't know what would become of them. Everyone has got their different talent, but a catalyst is needed and that is Gary. The difference is that now he is really worried about including everyone in the process. He's like a father figure and I just love the way they get on nowadays.

    Hats off to Captain Barlow... All 5 had different personalities and temperaments. He has managed them beautifully to get the best out of them.

    How amazing is Gary Barlow! It's incredible how observant he is of everybody and their needs...

    That's right. Yesterday I wanted to watch Robbie Williams Heroes Concert, and Gary Barlow was his special Guest. Actually they sang Shame. I think this last one is much more professional, never out of key, the second one is more original, a great improviser in an extempouraneosly way. Gas is full perfection, Robbie creates the moment just while performing, and He's so outlandish. I'm a Gary's fan too. The way he sings Rule the world is awesome. Anyhow I hope their next duet will be great

    They are SO AMAZING together creatively. All 5 of them. Seriously the sound of Progressed album is one of the best ones I've ever heard. It's a real shame that Rob can't really be 1/5 of a band and fully commit. He wants to be the whole number and he knows it.

    OMG this is the most moving thing I've ever seen. I love Take That so much and I'm so happy to have seen this. I really wish Take That would do something new soon because I haven't heard anything about them in ages

    I hope their duet in Rob's next record, will be as amazing as The Flood was. And I heard Gary is gonna trying a solo artist once again. I hope he will be luckier than his first time.He can do it, for he's one of the greatest voices ever. Just watched a duete of him with Bubble'. No way, Barlow for ever. I've always loved Take That, but when they dissolved for the 1st time, I kept on listening to Robbie Williams, that's why I'm a big fan of him. His music is awesome, unique. I like that so much

    He's really a great entertainer. But his talented as well. Robbie's voice is just in tune. His songs are beautiful and he's successful throughout the world. You know everything happens over this life. But generally an artist has always someyhing to give to audience, and Robbie has given us many many emotions. He's full of personality and charisma. This is a way to be telented. I grew up with his music, so I think very highly of him. He deserves all success he's got.Really a good guy, the number1

    actually, if you check gary's website he has a brief run down and description of how each of the songs from progressed came about. it's really interesting! he explains the song was actually written for the circus! obviously it didn't fit there, but they really liked it so they held it back and revisited it for progress(ed).

    But why all you Take That's fans never stand Robbie is so great? Is not Robbie himself a Take That's member as well. Why all this scorn towards him. The only one of all them that can count on a great deal of hits. Angel, Feel, Millenium, Misunderstood, Eternity, Sin Sin Sin, Rock Dj, Morning Sun, You Know me, Advertising Space, and so forth. I think Rob's professional stature is huge, awesome. Of Course I think Progress is absolutely one of their best records ever.Just all they are worty succss

  • @scamrasc
    @scamrasc 12 лет назад +3

    quantifiable proof if ever there was any that it's not 'the voice' that gets you fame and fortune - personality and excellent PR are much more effective in todays age of technical gizmos and autotuning i'm afraid...if people like your personality they'll feel like they know you, and therefore invest more in you = fans = fame and fortune.

  • @scamrasc
    @scamrasc 12 лет назад +3

    uk based girl band called girls aloud. were very very big, then broke up. basically, nadine's voice was what carried their songs (which were admittidly VERY catchy) while cheryl has proved time and time again that she can barely sqwak live. but when they both went solo, cheryl (thanks to the x factor) was dubbed "the nations sweetheart" and everything she touches pretty much turns to gold because of her army of fans (named her "soldiers"). nadine flopped harder than a wet fish on a rock.

  • @Worldwide170
    @Worldwide170 12 лет назад

    I know each member of the Band is talented in his own way, but no question Robbie is the most famous of all them. Actually he's still the only one who's having a solo career. I recognize Gas is really great, I don't get why you rejected the first part of my comment. It was refering to Gas and how special and smart he is. But my favourite one is Robbie. You yourself said Personally I've always thought Gary's voice runs rings round Rob's. So do I concernig This last one, Robbie of course .

  • @scamrasc
    @scamrasc 12 лет назад

    oh and just to clarify - i'm not saying that robbie can't sing, and i'm not comparing his vocal abilties to cheryl cole. i'm just making the point that FAME on it's own doesn't necessarily mean anything. i actually think robbie used to have a great voice, but his lifestyle (drink, drugs, smoking) has seriously aged/damaged it. but lets be honest, it was never his voice that attracted people - as he's said himself. his forté is as an entertainer.

  • @scamrasc
    @scamrasc 12 лет назад +2

    yes i agree with all of that. you seem to think that i've said that robbie isn't talented? i haven't - he's clearly very talented. he's got some wonderful songs. i have never disputed that - but i think that his greatest strength lies in his stage presence. THAT'S what makes him "robbie williams".

  • @scamrasc
    @scamrasc 12 лет назад +3

    sorry but being the most famous means absolutely nothing in terms of talent - just ask britney spears or cheryl cole about that one. each of the 5 members all have their own strengths and all have their own weaknesses. it was robbie's personality that turned out to be his truest strength. personally i've always thought that gary's voice runs rings round rob's.

  • @scamrasc
    @scamrasc 12 лет назад

    no i agree with you that it's personal preferrance, as i said before, but what i meant was that being famous is irrelevant. it just sounded to me in your first comment that you were saying "robbie's more famous therefore he's better", and all i'm saying is that that's simply not the case. PERSONALITY is what gets you famous, and robbie, love or loath him, has that in spades. just look at girls aloud. nadine unquestionably has the best voice. cheryl can barely sqwuak. yet who's more famous?

  • @Worldwide170
    @Worldwide170 13 лет назад +3

    I konw Gas is a very organised person. Very selective, really talented and great songwriter. But Robbie Williams has a far suprior voice than Gaz.
    He's full of personality and very outlandish, but really very very talented. Robbie is the most famous of the band

    • @ericacroft13
      @ericacroft13 Год назад

      Rob may be more famous but that is due to his personality and entertainer value. he is certainly not the most talented especially vocally.
