Hey Tom, another great video. Forgive me if this has been brought up, but I'd like to add some perspectives on Electret capsules, (I admittedly did not read all of the preceding 300+ comments) . . . It is true that electret capsules are used in many cheap devices because they are less expensive to manufacture and are fine for most communication applications - But that does not mean that all electret capsules are bad. There is nothing inherent about them that make them "Not Good," but instead are often used in cheap electronics, so most folks think that the problem is the capsule. (Of course there are terrible capsules of both types being made and sold.) Many really great mics have electrets - Røde, AKG, Shure, etc. all utilize them in some models. Calling externally biased condensers "true" makes many people think permanently biased condensers are not as good; they certainly can be. From the Shure website . . . The electret is a type of condenser microphone. There are two types of condenser microphones: a permanently biased condenser, usually called an electret condenser, and an externally biased condenser, usually called a true condenser. These days, when people say "condenser microphone", they usually mean, "electret condenser microphone". Probably ninety-five percent of the condenser microphones on the market are the electret type. The electret has a charged backplate that is created when we manufacture the microphone. A true condenser, on the other hand, continuously requires an external charge. This external charge may come in the form of any external box attached to the microphone, or it may come from the electronics built into the housing of the microphone. Which is better? There are excellent microphones on the market that use both types of construction. They are simply different ways to achieve the same goal. One last note, do not get the bias for a true condenser element confused with the bias that is supplied by a wireless transmitter. The bias supplied by a wireless transmitter is needed to power up a small transistor located near an electret condenser element. These two types of bias voltages are completely different.
Thanks for another great review, Tom! I have used several NT1s in our podcast for a while. The sound quality is great, but from my experience you need a certain distance between each host/guest microphone in order to have the best quality possible and try to isolate each channel. If you don´t have total control over the recording location, the noise gate in the rodecaster pro helps, but all in all: the podmic gives you better control.

Sir TOM!!! What!!! I somehow didn't know about the Rode AI-1. So while I'm not in the market for a condenser microphone and watched a video about the NT1 anyway because you make great content, you shared something else I'll probably be picking up! Thanks!
Thanks for the excellent review of the NT1. It would have been great if you could have also mentioned about the typical usages of the mic e.g. vocals, podcasting, etc...😊
Happy Meal mess! ROTFLMAO! You're right about the branding of the Neewer. I've learned that its body, PCB, diaphragm and grill are mass produced to the point you could build & modify that mic yourself. I forget the website, but customization kits are readily available & somewhat simple.
Great review! It’s amazing how the ears start to hear true quality the more you work with it! When I started I thought the Neewer sounded amazing. Ha ha
Very true. I mean, the Neewer is still better than most built in mics, but you definitely get what you pay for, especially when making the leap from $25 to $100+.
That's a tough choice because they're both great! If you've got the budget and a somewhat-decently treated space, I think the NT-1 is one of the best sounding mics around.
@@tombuck thanks for the reply! I have the budget but I’m currently in a rented apartment with loud neighbors in 3 directions and a puppy! I was thinking with all those factors the podmic would suit my needs more. My university did just build a vocal studio with RE20s, AT4033s, etc so I could rent that space out for final projects is my thought process.
I returned mine. Could hear birds chirping 2km away. And my room is untreated and echoy. It was a nightmare listening to the ambient noise of my room in my headphones, it was SO loud and NOISY.
The point of condenser mics is to capture REALITY. Dynamic mics sound like muddled trash since they are artificially capturing sound. The solution to your problem is to close talk the mic, which will reduce the gain from far away sources.
Great video! Loved the joke haha! This is my favourite mic. I use it in an untreated room, no pop filter and next to a window lol, nobody complains about plosives, background noise cars, birds etc. I speak quite close to it also, off-accessed, into a Yamaha MG10XU line in I did pick up a Shure Sm7b/Fethead and I much prefer my Rode, I'm still messing around with the Shure though.
I first experienced the Rode NT way back in 1996, I nick named it the RODENT or RAT, It pales in comparison to the Neuman u89 or TLM Great choice though at the price point, Great Vid once again Tom
"Rode sent it as a gift" - something that never ever happens for me. LOL, I really dig your content Tom. Very professionally lit and edited. Were you capturing ISO's from camera's connected to that ATEM Mini or were the camera's running individually, I didn't see you making any button cuts while you were speaking.
Thanks Gary! When recording, I use the camera’s SD cards and sync everything in Final Cut. I use the ATEM to help monitor. I’m sure I could use the ISO functionality for mor efficiency, but this works great for me. 👍
Tom: My first adventure into condenser microphones was the Audio Technica AT2035. Works pretty well and is priced about half of the RODE NT1. Have you had any experience with the AT2035 microphone? Hank
Great video Tom! I was looking at the NT1 and then my finger slipped and I recently purchased a TLM103 for my first condenser microphone. Running it though the Rode Caster Pro with noise gates on has eliminated a lot of the background sound. My next condenser is on the way - The Rode Broadcaster. That’ll be fun to use for sure . Thank you again for the great video.
Great! I like Tom's content, I've been watching your channel a full week! Did you hear about Samson has a condenser Mic called "G-Track Pro"? It would be wonderful if you could review it. It's also a good product I guess.
That is a fantastic sounding mic! Don't think it probably works in my untreated room, so I'll probably stick with my SM58, but that Pop filter is no joke!
I found you make a change!! Wow~ Three different angle view~ Awesome~ Can you share what camera you used? i saw Sony A7siii in your list? How to balance Canon and Sony color? You did a great job~ Look forward to see your new camera setting~
Thanks Austin! This is actually the first "real" video I made with the Sony as the main camera. It wasn't too hard to match the colors. I have a preset that I made in Final Cut for my R's, and it almost worked perfectly on the Sony. I just shift the Canons a little bit towards the green on the Color wheels (-4) and the Sony a little towards the red (+2) and they work pretty well. The blues are still not perfect and skin tone isn't an exact match, but it's more than enough and it's fun to use both systems together.
@@tombuck Thank you for sharing your tips, you are really a nice teacher, that tell me so detail about these two color fix way. Good job for all your video🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
I think it's a great option but I think I would've gone with a podmic with and an ai-1, but the valde for money in this kit surely outweights the cost of the previously mentioned one? Don't you think?
Maybe you can add these topics to your Rode AI-1 review, but i'm curious to know: 1) since it's USB-C, can it plug to an iPad Pro 2018 or later or iPad Air 4 with USB-C? 2) how does it sound with the PodMic on the AI-1?
Lemee see here...I see the NT1 and the Podmic which is like a lavish massage vs. root canal without anesthesia. Love my NT1, smooth and sweet BUT the friggin shock mount is a pain in the ass as is the pop filter. The solution is the RM2 mic stand clip and a good windscreen.
There is a design flaw with the shock mount - the pop filter cannot be positioned in any position other than head-on. I had to buy a foam filter to work when mounted on the side of my desk.
To order it without the interface it only offers the lower grade shockmount, would be nice if they offered it with that nicer shockmount you have, as I already have an interface
I've got a few thumbnail videos that cover it in depth, but basically I try to take a nice photo and then I use Procreate on the iPad to add some neon, effects, and lettering- then combine and adjust it all with Photoshop. Thanks for the kind words!
2:14 i dont have this ring i think the store didn't gave it to me ...now how do i get it back :( :( also unable to mount it on my shock mount..the store just says we dont have it ...help!!!!
Oh nom that's definitely an important piece! Reach out to Rode's customer service, or even send them a message on Twitter and I'm sure they'll take care of you.
We thank you just as much 😌 I was searching for mics for our setup which seems a bit challenging 😐 especially for the two of us which are newbies when it comes to podcasting and we just started with ZOOM : Basically we ( me and my wife ) need to hold online classes thru’ ZOOM at the same time in the same space ( a living room) and we’re just a few feet from each other ... 🤦🏻♂️ so we can’t pick on each other’s voice. She is positioned almost opposite of my desk 🤔 Are there any mics that can allow us to have our classes in this way ? P.S : we’re also planning to start a two ppl podcasting RUclips channel with interviews, debates, discussions and sorts 🙂 Thank you once again for your time and work! 😊
Ooh that’s a tricky one- if would absolutely recommend a condenser mic, and ideally something with a super cardioid pickup pattern. Heck, you could even try using a super directional shotgun mic. It might ruin the ambiance, but you could also try hanging a sound blanket between your two spaces when you’re teaching. There are a million little details to figure out, but just keep going and I’m sure you guys will build a setup that works for you 👍
I haven't used the sE2200 so I can't really make a fair comparison. From what I've heard though, all of the SE mics sound fantastic. I don't think you could go wrong either way, although the Rode is a little bit less expensive.
Thanks for your video. All links in the description direct to what seems like the newer version of the kit, which now included the (some would argue the lesser) SM6 and an XLR cable instead of the SMR Shock Mount. Why did Rode do this? Did they reduce the cost of the kit overall I wonder? In my humble opinion it seems like an downgrade. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
I noticed that too, but I think that's all that's available? I believe I was sent one of the older kits, which I'm ok with since I do like the mount and pop filter. Not sure why they don't sell them anymore though 🤔
Thinking of upgrading from a UM 800 Wish mic looks exactly like the newer cheap one on your video to a NT1. As I EQ vocals I tend to hear some weird tinny and metal noises in certain frequencies. It might be some room issues as I do not really have room treatment besides al lot of stuff on the walls. But do think the cheap UM 800 from Wish I use currently has something to do with it.
@@wm1573 Yes to start, professional voice-over artists should try out several mics to find the one that best for them. Professional mic can run from a few hundred up to 5 thousand and then you have the professional eq and outboard equipment.
@@mattwruff I know what the gear can cost. However nt1 is more than enough for professional work... Michael Jackson, RHCP and every studio in the world use Shure sm57 and it's 90 bucks
@@wm1573 Sure we use a SM57 on a Electric guitar amp, but we also use a $4000 Neumann on an Acoustic guitar. I worked in several studios here in Nashville so I have first hand knowledge of what we use.
Hmm, that can be a tough one. If by "echo" you mean that the sound is repeating, then that's usually an easy fix with adjusting software settings (usually it's a mix-minus thing). On the other hand, if the "echo" is more about the reverb you're hearing in your recording space, that can be a bit trickier. Unfortunately, there's only so much a mic can do to handle it, and a lot of the solution comes down to sound treating the space.
mr buck, great video, well presented. I'm commenting from Trinidad and Tobago, in the Caribbean. I have been trying to find out for some time now, about that rode kit and I am always told, it doesn't come with that particular shock mount and thats the one I need, not the bulky one, that seems to come with the kit now. please guide me, or direct me to where, or how I can get that exact kit. thanks sir
I'm trying to figure this out for myself. From what I can determine, this is an older kit that they don't make anymore. The current NT-1 kit comes with a different mount/pop filter. However, I think you can search individual retailers and see if they happen to have any of the old ones still in stock. Sometimes music websites like Sweetwater or Musician's Friend will have different availabilities than the typical sites like Amazon or B&H.
Hiya! want to buy the NT1 but the only ones available are with the full kit which I don't think it includes the pop filter in your kit.And I don't want to pay extra for stuff I don't need like the Rode interface and another cable. Any scoop on when the NT1 $269 version is coming back -?

I have been working off a USB SAMSON G Track PRO for about a year, this is my 1st "real" XLR mic I have a few cheap ones, and man they don't sound well unless I do a lot of post-processing! So your video made me pull the trigger. I make training videos for my company and I'm doing 2 to 3 videos a month so I am recording a lot of audio and that is why I wanted something better! Thanks for the info, great work, and thank you for keeping it real.
I’m so impressed with this mic, I’m sure you’ll love yours! Like I said in the video, I was lucky that Rode sent it to me, but I was 100% going to buy it for myself. Definitely worth the money.
Bought this mic kit a couple of years ago. Awesome kit, amazing mic.,
It's really quite fantastic! Can't go wrong with the NT-1.
Sir TOM!!! What!!! You did it again.. but this time I was just looking at this microphone for just a few days.. maybe 4 days.. and looking at some of their reviews, saying this was one of the best condenser mic they used compared to others in their review. Great flat response plus with voice and guitar acoustics. Again as always, really just love your vids. The vibe of it being positive and the color of your vid. Its so lively and I just love how you do your videos. THANK YOU AGAIN SIR!! 🤗😊🤗😊🤗😊👍👏🏼👏💯🎙🎙🎙🎙
Oh yeah, love their rycote shockmount with the pop filter 🤗😊 plus their mic with a shock absorber inside too and 1 inch diaphragm condenser.. ahh. Just great!!!
Thank you! I always really appreciate the kind words and support! Glad the video was helpful. 😎
@@tombuck awww.. Just glad to have seen one of your vids and then on to the next and next up to now. 👏🏼🤗🤗😊☺💯 Thank you!!
Tom, just a note: I believe the Triton Audio FetHead Phantom in-line microfoon preamp does pass on phantom power. Thanks for the review!
Really? That's great to know there's an option out there.
I somehow didn't know about the Rode AI-1. So while I'm not in the market for a condenser microphone and watched a video about the NT1 anyway because you make great content, you shared something else I'll probably be picking up! Thanks!
I didn't really know about it either, but it's pretty great. Super small and easy to use.
Thanks for the excellent review of the NT1. It would have been great if you could have also mentioned about the typical usages of the mic e.g. vocals, podcasting, etc...😊
It's realyl good for just about everything, from spoken word to singing and even instruments. 👍
NTI can be used anywhere.
I bought the Rode NT1-A used and I really like it. I use it as a voiceover mic. I have it running into the Yamaha MG166CX
Such a great mic! Glad you're enjoying it!
Ordered mine, i'm getting tingles.
Congrats! You’ll absolutely love it 👍
she's a very very good mic
i have it, love it
maybe she's the best option under 400$
An absolutely outstanding mic!
Happy Meal mess! ROTFLMAO!
You're right about the branding of the Neewer. I've learned that its body, PCB, diaphragm and grill are mass produced to the point you could build & modify that mic yourself. I forget the website, but customization kits are readily available & somewhat simple.
That's actually kind of cool. It's like those Radio Shack electronics kits they used to sell way back when.
Yup. Love my NT1-A for many years now. Sounds really great!
It’s such a great, natural mic.
@@tombuck I got mine from my ❤️ wife ❤️ as a birthday present! 😊 Did you ever get any „technical“ presents from Heather, too? 😳 😉
NT1 will sound even better. Especially on vocals.
Road Broadcaster: Best of both worlds! (My main streaming mic for now. besides when I switch it up lol)
It sounds pretty dang good too! 👍🏻
Yes- that looks like an awesome mic!
Bought this in 2020 and love it for my podcast
Nice! I’m glad you’re liking it 👍
This is my favorite microphone, it sounds very cool
I'm so impressed with it!
This video is incredible. Hours researched and trying to decide between the PodMic and the NT1 now
That's a tough choice because they're both great!
Good decision.p
That pop filter though! Thats sound difference is intense.
It's REALLY good. I don't know if all metal pop filters are this effective, or if this one is just exceptional.
@@tombuck I've heard before that metal popfilters are super effective in general
Why is it that every time I watch your videos, I feel like I need that thing! ( I really don’t)
You have more gear than me haha!
@@tombuck and that is your fault! 😂
Fantastic review and vid. Also, how about the audio quality of that NTG....sounds great too
It's such a great mic, especially for the price!
Just realized i got the same chair 😂
And yes…it makes “interesting” sound on streams sometimes 🦻🏻😅
I returned mine. Could hear birds chirping 2km away.
And my room is untreated and echoy. It was a nightmare listening to the ambient noise of my room in my headphones, it was SO loud and NOISY.
In a situation like that, a dynamic mic will likely work a lot better.
Yeah, I had the same disturbing discovery when I first started learning about this stuff (Neewer days, haha!) & picking up gear.
you returned it? ahh man you could have just got a "Alctron PF8" for $30 which is basically a foam ball like the Kay Ball but much cheaper
just close talk it...
The point of condenser mics is to capture REALITY. Dynamic mics sound like muddled trash since they are artificially capturing sound. The solution to your problem is to close talk the mic, which will reduce the gain from far away sources.
Just bought this kit, love the sound of it
It's such a great mic!
Yes sir! Thanks for the comparisons and knowledge!
You're welcome!
Love my nt1, managed to snag it for $150 used on Guitar Center
Woah, that's an awesome deal! 😎
Great video! Loved the joke haha!
This is my favourite mic. I use it in an untreated room, no pop filter and next to a window lol, nobody complains about plosives, background noise cars, birds etc. I speak quite close to it also, off-accessed, into a Yamaha MG10XU line in
I did pick up a Shure Sm7b/Fethead and I much prefer my Rode, I'm still messing around with the Shure though.
They’re both great, but this mic definitely has a special quality.
Wow. Ultra wide aspect ratio. Have to say that I like most of the sound of video mic NTG.
The NTG is a great sounding mic. 👍
I learned a lot in this video, thanks! A classic Tom mic video.
Thank you! I love hearing this.
I first experienced the Rode NT way back in 1996, I nick named it the RODENT or RAT, It pales in comparison to the Neuman u89 or TLM Great choice though at the price point, Great Vid once again Tom
I didn’t realize it’s been around that long! Love the nickname.
Hank
Hey Hank! I've never used that specific mic, but Audio Technica always makes great stuff, so I'm sure it's outstanding.
Hey Tom - fun review. it would be cool if you reviewed the Rode Broadcaster with the Procaster - yeah? Been wondering about that.
Those are both super interesting, but I've never used them myself. They also sound terrific when I hear other people using them though!
👍 for the NOFX mention!
Oh wow, that’s an awesome collection of mics!
the fethead has a phantom version which is designed for this purpose.
That's good to know! This mic has so much giant though that I can't imagine needing to add more 😁
@@tombuck fair point.
To my understanding the NT1 has sadly been discontinued. Would’ve loved to purchase one new. Too skeptical to buy used.
They're still out there, but I think the kit has changed with a different shock mount and pop filter.
Great! I like Tom's content, I've been watching your channel a full week!
Did you hear about Samson has a condenser Mic called "G-Track Pro"?
It would be wonderful if you could review it. It's also a good product I guess.
I haven't heard of that, but thank you for the recommendation!
Awesome dude. Welcome to the NT-1 club.
That is a fantastic sounding mic! Don't think it probably works in my untreated room, so I'll probably stick with my SM58, but that Pop filter is no joke!
The 58 is such a great versatile mic! 🎤
The Sony C100 has an electorate condenser capsule in addition to the large-diaphragm capsule to achieve the additional frequency response.
Oh wow, that's awesome. I looked it up just to see how that works and it seems super interesting!
Usual excellent informative friendly review from Tom
Thank you! That's exactly the kind of thing that makes my day. 😁
I think it's a great option but I think I would've gone with a podmic with and an ai-1, but the valde for money in this kit surely outweights the cost of the previously mentioned one? Don't you think?
You can't go wrong either way, but I do prefer the sound of teh NT1 over the PodMic. But being a dynamic mic, the PodMic has its advantages too.
Maybe you can add these topics to your Rode AI-1 review, but i'm curious to know:
1) since it's USB-C, can it plug to an iPad Pro 2018 or later or iPad Air 4 with USB-C?
2) how does it sound with the PodMic on the AI-1?
Great suggestions, thank you!
Glad you found a solution that works!
There is a design flaw with the shock mount - the pop filter cannot be positioned in any position other than head-on. I had to buy a foam filter to work when mounted on the side of my desk.
Yeah, it’s easy to turn the mic at a different angle, but the pop filter is locked in place.
Your Dad joke level is on point!
"And this one sounds horrible" - To me is sounded almost the same. For 20 or 30 dollars, it's a steal.
I use RODE NT1A for recording vocals
To order it without the interface it only offers the lower grade shockmount, would be nice if they offered it with that nicer shockmount you have, as I already have an interface
It's funny because when I got it, I thought I preferred the other shock mount, but I've come to really like this one overall.
Love that mic! Question: how do you design such awesome looking thumbnails???
I've got a few thumbnail videos that cover it in depth, but basically I try to take a nice photo and then I use Procreate on the iPad to add some neon, effects, and lettering- then combine and adjust it all with Photoshop. Thanks for the kind words!
@@tombuck thank you! I will definitely check out the videos.
Love your reviews and the easy humor! Btw, did you mean “Dynamic mics reject better” at 10:28?
Yes! Thank you for catching that.
Daaaang... that pop screen. Like, i want just the pop screen 🤯
Haha I know, right? It's really nifty and super effective.
We thank you just as much 😌 I was searching for mics for our setup which seems a bit challenging 😐 especially for the two of us which are newbies when it comes to podcasting and we just started with ZOOM :
Basically we ( me and my wife ) need to hold online classes thru’ ZOOM at the same time in the same space ( a living room) and we’re just a few feet from each other ... 🤦🏻♂️ so we can’t pick on each other’s voice. She is positioned almost opposite of my desk 🤔
Are there any mics that can allow us to have our classes in this way ?
P.S : we’re also planning to start a two ppl podcasting RUclips channel with interviews, debates, discussions and sorts 🙂
Thank you once again for your time and work!
There are a million little details to figure out, but just keep going and I’m sure you guys will build a setup that works for you 👍
@@tombuck we are very grateful for your time to answer us! Your suggestion and knowledge sharing much appreciated! God bless you Tom 😌
Is this exact bundle still available? Ive seen this bundle in sweetwater but has the sm6 shockmount.
The kit from B&H should be exactly the same. 👍
@@tombuck unfortunately it says out of stock, i guess ill just wait then lol thanks
Your shock mount and pop filter is different from what they package in now on Amazon? Yours looks way cooler lol. Where can one get that?
I think the one I have is older and that they've changed it for the newer kits. I'm not sure why though.
@@tombuck too bad! Thanks for responding!
thanks
Great video! In your opinion, how does Rode NT1 compare with sE2200?
I haven't used the sE2200 so I can't really make a fair comparison. From what I've heard though, all of the SE mics sound fantastic. I don't think you could go wrong either way, although the Rode is a little bit less expensive.
I love my Rode NT1… in a well treated room :)
I definitely agree with you. My cheap mics all have some "metal/tinny" noises like you mentioned.
I'd love to try out the Rode NT1, I was going to buy one at my local Guitar Center but they ran out and I got an AKG C-214 instead
AKG mics are pretty great! I've only used a couple, but I really liked them.
For guitar NT1a will sound better. For vocals NT1 will sound better.
luv the good work bro
Thank you!
For someone wanting to start out in voice overs or ‘talking head’ best if you use in a closet the NT-1 is a very good starting point.
My first apartment in college had a small closet barely bigger than a phone booth, but it was the perfect place for vocals.
Starting point?
Amazing video thank you!
RØDE Courvoisier, 1998. A very good year.
It's got rich warm tones.
I wonder if there are individual differences between NT1s, and not every one sound as good as yours that was given to you by Rode.
There might be individual differences, but mine was just pulled off a shelf like any other. No special treatment there in that regard.
Camera bout clear as hell, boy I see every shred of hair on your head 😂 what kinda camera you using?
Haha maybe that’s too clear 😁
This was the Sony a7SIII with the Sony 24mm 1.4 lens. 👍
Where can i find the table top stand??
It's a Samson stand that I found on Amazon. 👍
That NT1 sounds great especially with the pop filter but as you said, the Neewer Mic sounds like not just regular garbage but "HOT Garbage." 🤣
🔥🗑
I bought it a week ago but I have a huge echo. What shall I change? I talk into the mic but I’m not sure what I miss….. could you help me please?
Hmm, that can be a tough one. If by "echo" you mean that the sound is repeating, then that's usually an easy fix with adjusting software settings (usually it's a mix-minus thing).
On the other hand, if the "echo" is more about the reverb you're hearing in your recording space, that can be a bit trickier. Unfortunately, there's only so much a mic can do to handle it, and a lot of the solution comes down to sound treating the space.
Why is it to me that that some of these kits seem to ship with the Rycote Mount and others with a less premium looking mount ?
I'm not sure, but I think they changed the shock mount at some point. The one I have here seems to be the older kit.
@@tombuck Thanks
Wow, to me, the NT-1 and PodMic sound _so_ much better than then VideoMic.
That makes sense considering they're dedicated studio mics intended for close proximity. I think the NT-1 is especially awesome sounding.
Hello Tom between Rode Nt 1 and Shure sm7b what do you advise
that pun omfg lmao
mr buck, great video, well presented.
@@tombuck thank you sir
Hiya! want to buy the NT1 but the only ones available are with the full kit which I don't think it includes the pop filter in your kit.And I don't want to pay extra for stuff I don't need like the Rode interface and another cable. Any scoop on when the NT1 $269 version is coming back -?
I don’t have any insider info, but it’s always a good idea to keep checking multiple sources like B&H, Sweetwater, Adorama, Musician’s Friend, etc.
@@tombuck Thanks Tom! I think you spurred a NT1 buying craze.
did they change this package? seems to come with a different shock mount and pop filter packaged with it.
I think they did change it. The more I look, this version seems harder to find, but I still see people getting it from time to time.
Good job love u 💛
