Bush On The Hill/ Maid In The Meadow

The first tune is ''The Bush On The Hil''l, one of my favourite jigs, and it utilises the full tone of the banjo, starting on the low G as it does. The second jig is a jig version of the reel ''The Green Fields Of America"', here played in A Major. My banjo was made by Tom Cussen, from Galway(Clareen Banjos). The Irish Bouzouki was made here in Victoria by Ray Black, one of our more respected instrument makers, and is tuned GDAD with octave strings on the two lower courses.
