This is a good video, I’d like an update on them please ??? But I recommend taking the soil and plants with it out of the pot and gently rubbing away soil then tapping the soil, and lightly dropping the roots and soil on the ground or even washing away soil with low pressure water to keep roots intact the best.
Thanks for the info. I have tried doing on two Areca plants but they don't grow there growth is stuck and leaves are getting brown. The soil mix contains cocopeat soil vermicompost and I even gave them fertilizer but not growing. Please advise 🙏
Areca palms become dormant in winter. So they hardly grow in the winter months... As the weather gets warmer, they will push out new growth. So don't worry, keep them in a bright place and water only when the soil is dry.... 😊😊☘️🪷☘️
The propagation method would be considered as "stem separation" rather than "stem cutting"... I apologise, Thank you so much for your consideration... 😊🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Do you have any update on this propagation? I did the same like 1-2 months ago, but the leafs started to dry out and i just have the stem left. It seems like it the stem is alive inside and when i planted it, it had quite lots of roots. Do you think it can survive? How much time it takes for new leafs? thank u so much!
This isnt a propagation, it is a stem splitting and you can only take out with the roots. After repotting with the root system it will survive but one stem takes years and years to become a full bush. The price off the areca palm is very cheap so just buy a nice one, buy a nice pot and you have a beautiful full palm.

How long will it take for the plant roots to hold the soil after pruning ?

Does this work for larger plants? I have an areca palm that is at least 15 years old.
Applicable for all types of palm varieties. 🙂☘️☘️☘️
Thanks❤
Thank you
Now how the other stems will propagate from this stem?🤔 There's no seed. Only this single stem. Does anybody know this?
