- Ripper Roo has become one of the most fun blockers to play. However; he does have quite a learning curve. In today's Crash Team Rumble 101 guide, im going to show you how to ACTUALLY PLAY Ripper Roo!

Ripper is a little busted right now. Maybe it's just him being new, but his spammable kick with knockback seems impossible to avoid

A little tip, Overshoot your target, It isn't mentioned, But you can retract your landing spot by pulling back on the analogy stick. You *cannot* however, Increase your range by pushing forward.
It's best to slightly overshoot, Then adjust your landing spot mid-air, Rather than undershoot it and wind up falling down a pit.
A little combat tip: If you're fighting enemies on a bank or gempad as Ripper Roo, bait them by drawing out a bomb, then use Bounce Crates.
The best time to punish Ripper Roo is during the bomb spawn animation. Bounce Crates will interrupt Ripper Roo's actions, so this can catch people by surprise. :P
Another trick is to use Ripper Roo's Bounce and then spawn a bomb as you're going up. You can then land safely with a bomb lol.
Ripper Roo is my favorite scorer.
Jokes aside he's really good with the Golden Wumpa, since his mobility gives him allot of survivability.
Ripper Roo is really rippin’ everyone when it comes to being a blocker. He has the most mobility in terms of getting around the map really quickly. The only downside is that if one player is using Ripper Roo and it’s only targeting another player that is trying to focus on one objective which makes it harder to escape from Ripper Roo. I love to see some sort of cool down for Ripper Roo’s cannon launch.
And the way that the Bowling Bomb and Cannon just appears out of no where ripper roo is Breaking the laws of physics

Learn how to bomb boost if you want to have alot of fun with ripper. It makes him cannon mostly obsolete
I like to bounce above an enemy Gasmoxian Guard and spawn a bomb, let it explode and give me a little air boost, spawn another bomb above it and keep on repeating until it dies.

This is the character I play the least due to how hard it is to turn people into animals
It sucks that Toys4Bob didn't include Ripper-Roos manic laugh he had in Crash 1 and 2
facing a team of rippers is a miserable time, its just bombs flying everywhere stopping you from moving and you can barely even hit them

I'm gonna judge by the stats and I have reason to believe Ripper Roo is more so a Glass Cannon, effective yet fragile in a sense.
There is a glitch I got 5 people in my team in crash team rumble how
ripper roo is my boy so i would have choose him if he sucked (although i dont play the game because i want to buy hogwarts legacy) but his traits seem perfect for my play style, man if i could learn to be decent with him i cant imagine how scary other players will be. its probably scary to imagine opponent ripper roos cannon balling everywhere and scoring in different areas.
To get good at ripper roo you must THINK like ripper roo
I hate going against ripper roo I swear his bombs are heat seeking when they're aimed at me
