Let me start off by saying that I’ve never heard y’all or heard of Lawrence as a band. So I randomly put on RUclips live sessions and Friend or Enemy live session came on as the 5th song up and as soon as I heard the band I had to look at my screen real quick, then y’all started singing and well I couldn’t stop watching without a smile. That led me here to this song next and I must say that y’all just made another fan. Y’all 🔥💯
You guys are amazing - ur brand of R&B with touch of gospel and pop is a recipe for goosebumps Oh, and your lyrics are fun too so don’t u dare quittin’ - for our sake :-)
I must confess, I'm just finding you today. A commercial for a new computer or something. Man you guys are so freakin dope! I think I've bought 12 of your songs already!!
I love this band. I will say that while Clyde seems to have a similar sound between the older and newer videos, Gracies has really improved over time. To my ear, she's got more power and control now and leans a little less into what one vocal coach termed 'dipthongs' when doing a reaction to a Lawrence video. It will be exciting to see how they evolve over time.
why are you guys not bigger!? i probably gave this song 200 listens alone on spotify!! you guys are good. lyrics, singing and the music composition! wish i found a band like this play with because GD it sounds good. noones on top of anyone. everyone shines!
Theses fellas and young lady are a very talented band that has really found their groove together! Hope to see you live some day. I live all the way across the country. 😞
So bummed I missed the recent Toronto show! You guys had it booked the same night as Busty and the Bass. Perhaps you could share a ticket with them in the future. Both of your sounds are definitely in the same realm.
Musically the song is solid, but gotta kind of laugh at a millionaire's kid talking about someone growing up with animosity about being an outcast. Like Lawrence could never actually relate to what they are singing about. So kind of out of touch.
Lawrence would have never gained traction without Clyde on DYWDNWM? Living Room is a Gracie heavy album and their new stuff is too, but i love the sound Clyde adds to the vocals. They work great together. Both of them are crazy talented and I think that the difference in their styles really make Lawrence what they are. It’s a unique sound.
Little harsh. I love his voice and hers kinda annoys me tbh but she's clearly the better vocalist, She has fabulous control and I like her style, I'm warming up to her voice a bit as I go to through their channel.
Lawrence's: singing seriously
The trumpets and saxaphones: hits stanky leg
Every single video from this band has maybe 10% of the views it should. This band oozes talent. Clyde and Gracie bring all of the heart and soul.
Nice ! Gritty vocals and bluesy Horn Riffs. LOL Horn section Choreo. at 2:09 and the guitarists' reaction !
What part of the reaction?

This was definitely written for someone specific in their life haha.
Ben Folds
This band is goddamn TIGHT!
Please come to Louisville. Will be very receptive to your sick vocals, style, jammin horns et al. Please get us in the loop. A great music town!

Struggling to find the meaning in this song, is it criticising the "girls" or the singer? The line "Mr singer are you not just insecure" confuses me
He’s making fun of the singer
For some reasons, i hear Lin Manuel Miranda
I think the guy shiuld fo a solo thing dotn hate me lol
They birh good but the vocals on that guy
How many try’s is it going to take you to write a comment without a spelling error? lol
@@josephguzzi939 thanks dude

Bro, stop singing and let your sister be the star. This is why Billie Eilish is successful and you're just okay.

The singer is great. The girl has got to go. She is holding the band back. She has to tone it down, literally.
Unpopular opinion
Darren Galerkin they’re siblings dude. It’s beautiful what they’ve created. I think you just need to go.
I mean, you're wrong. But whatever.

This did not age well haha
