  • Rod and Honey blew the top off at the 2010 Riverfront Blues Festival! They opened up with this tune "Sunbird" off their newest Delta Groove Music release "Soul Monster"... In my opinion this was the highlight performance of the entire festival! They worked through lots of sounds problems! Rod even thanked the sound man and called him "Shorty!" I have more pictures of Rod and Honey and others at my BluzNdaBlood Facebook site! This has Rod Piazza on harp and vocals, Miss Honey on keyboards, Dave Kida on drums and Henry Carvahal on guitar! Sorry for the quality of this video! I forgot my High Def camera and left it in the hotel room! But this band left the California coast at 3:00 am in the morning to fly in to this festival and were pretty fried, but nothing stops the great sound of this band! They give everything! Rod walked the crowd! Honey played with her feet! Check out the pictures! Another reason this band is one of my favorites! :-(
