How to replace brake master cylinder piston kit of any motorcycle | master cylinder rebuild (pulsar)

- In this video you will learn how to replace brake master cylinder piston kit on any motorcycle. If you have a motorcycle with a disc brake in front tire then it will have a master cylinder which controls the function of applying hydraulic brake .
You might need to change the piston kit in two conditions , first if the brake oil is leaking from the master cylinder near the brake lever push rod then that means the piston rubber o ring is damage. Second, if you press the brake lever and the brake won't apply even the reservoir if full with brake oil that means your brake is fail and in that case you need to replace the master cylinder piston kit .
First of all you need to clean the cap of reservoir if its dirty and then unscrew it and have some cloth on the petrol tank before removing the cap . Just remove the reservoir cap and its diaphragm and either empty the brake oil by bleeding it from bleed screw or by sucking it with syringe. Once the reservoir is empty open the banjo bolt and disconnect the brake line from master cylinder assembly.
Disconnect the wires from brake switch and then open the bolts holding the bracket of master cylinder assembly . After removing the master cylinder assembly from the motorcycle open the nut and bolt that holds the brake lever and then remove the boot cover and push rod to get access to the piston.
There is a circlip that holds the piston on its place , so you need to remove this circlip with the help of a circlip pliers and then hold the piston and pull it out . Now clean the area where piston works with a clean cloth or use brake cleaner . Brought a new replacement for master cylinder piston kit according to your motorcycle and assembly the spring and then apply the grease or brake oil on rubber parts( o rings) and then insert the piston back into its place and then insert the circle to hold the piston down.
After that simply place the rubber boot along with push rod and then assemble the brake lever . Do check by pressing the lever if everything if working fin. Now just install the master cylinder assembly back to the motorcycle and fill the reservoir with brake oil and remove the air from the brake lines.

Playr lia 80/- ka, break kit aayi 110/- ki oil mila 50/- ka ghar pe 3 baar service karli. 😅😅 Per aaj ke baad kabhi disk break bike nahi loonga, kabhi iska wire jam ho jata hai woh 600-700 ka aata hai garage wala pura repair karne ka 300/- leta hai, drum break me koi locha nahi hota kewal break pad hote hai koi bhi garage wala aaram se change kar dega. I am having Yamaha FZ V3, from last 3-4 months Brakes and ABS is not working. I have shown it to Yamah service centre, without checking, they said, it has problem in ABS Box. I asked them to check the cylinder piston in breaks and they had changed it, but problem is not solved. They said, we need to change the ABS Box, which is of 15,000 Rs. But Meter pe ABS ka koi issue nahi dikha raha..
Local garage me bhi dikhaya but problem solve nahi hua.. oil reservoir me kabi kabi bubble ata hai kabhi nahi ata. Yane oil pass kabhi hota hai, kabhi nahi hota..

i feel you brother , am not a mechanic , trust me not all of them are same but some do charge alot , that's the reason why i do all stuff by my self and try to teach other so it could help them too , on the other hand there are many bad mechanics out there who either take little training or learn from others and do crappy jobs and in process they ruin the perfect thing and latter may cause accidents

My local mechanic changed the MC piston kit in my MT-15 and now the brakes are engaging on their own and locking the front tyre after riding for 2 kms. The disc also got very hot after the tyre locks up.
I'm able to move the bike again after 1 hour. What might be the issue?
he must have fix the brake pads wrongly or have applied the normal grease on the caliper pins . check if the caliper moving freely or not , one more thing this could happen even if your MC is blocked , lines are jammed have dust in them or dust in caliper cylinder or used old brake oil

you need to properly bleed the air out
@@SAIREPAIRsir I did that...but after a couple of hours brake starts getting air and when i park it during night, next day, brake seems fail... lever gets fully pressed...☹️
@@MotoKid21 ok so no leakage either, you mention after few hr it started feel like that , it indicates there is still air in side the brake line as when you just press the lever and think the air is bleeding it just getting compressed and when you are not using brake for some hrs it gets decompressed and cause the same old problem , you have to properly bleed the brakes that's the only possible solution , there is no other way for air to get in , unless there is water mixed in brake fluid or its getting way to hot that is started to get vaporized which is very rare

brake shoe purane use ho sakte hai agar conition achi ho , unki bajha se brake free nahihoti , agar aapne ne caliper albaya hai to master cylinder ko achi tarha se clean karke (agar jarurat ho to ) full brake line ko bleed karna chahiye , aapki brake line mai air hai jiski bajha se brake nahi lag rahi hogi
