Stu I’ve been watching your channel for years. I learned masonry in high school and had the privilege of competing nationally for 3 years here in the US in a trade organization called SkillsUSA. I’ve carried the trade into my adulthood and it’s been a joy to use my skills on the side to restore old grave monuments and build for families and friends. Your channel has kept me in love with the art form of masonry. Also, I never used plasticizer until hearing about it from you and it seems to be a game changer for workability. Thanks for all your inspirational content!

G,day Stu and KC from Sydney Australia.
Very nice retaining wall and stairs finished with brick on edge.
I have difficulty with the 'brick' stair setout; the going and rise height.
I once had to construct a solid set of brick stairs, no infilling...O wow.

Hi, i have seen some walls were the top row of bricks are laid on their ends, at an angle, so the top surface is bumpy - which would discourage people from sitting on the wall!! Can you tell me what that's called please, so that I can ask for it! Thanks 😀

Hi stu quick question m8. Had concrete put in on fiday in trench to fill footings. Bricky started sat morning. There was water in trench from night rain. Pump had brocken to get the water out. Bricky has made a good start but my only concern is he layed 7n blocks in 4 or 5 cm of water. Is this ok? Will it effect anything? Thanks
