Two tricks I use with my snood (although I'll have to try the pony tail trick): I wear a hairnet with a finer mesh under the snood to prevent my layers poking through and if I don't like how long the snood is compared to hair i will pin the end up under the back (and pull in the sides a touch) and it also gives a bit more volume. Thanks Cherry for the video!
Oh the hairnet tip is great, i had my sister in law make me a snood but my hair seems to poke out all the time😢 i will have to try it with a hairnet thank you
Elise Mauceri I do the same and I found some scruncy ponytail holder wing pieces at Walgreens in my hair color and I put these inside of the hairnet to give my thin hair move volume. It also saves me the time needed in the morning when I have no time to curl my hair. All I'll have to do is worry about the front of my hair which I can get done even on damp uncurled hair.
This is absolutely gorgeous please do another one I love the three rolls in the front I cannot even say enough of how beautiful gorgeous Sassy the boom this is
Sometimes when I wear a snood, I thread a piece of ribbon around the edges, almost like a drawstring, and then tie it into a bow. It makes it a little more secure and adds a little pizzazz.
I like the snood idea. I've finally managed to get my victory rolls right, but then I don't have a whole lot of hair left in the back, so this would work well for me.
Thanks for doing this. I like to wear a snood in the summer instead putting my hair in a pony tail, but every time I do it looks lumpy and uneven. The tip about putting the tip in a rubber band will help a lot.
Hi! I love your videos and you seem like such an awesome person! Would you think about doing an Agent Carter hair tutorial or a spin on her vintage style? Thanks, and keep doing what you're doing because it is so cool!!
Hello! I love all the old hair styles that you do and I have tried them all except I have long hair almost down to my waist! I love my long black gothic hair and vintage styles but can never achieve them :(. The liberty curls are my favorite but those are the hardest for me. Any advice? Also you have such a great personality, thank you for being true and honest to all of us. Xoxox
You are killing me....so simple with you!! Buuuut in my bathroom is not the same thing!!! Well, if you want to spend a little time in Belgique, welcome, we have good beers , chocolats and "baraques a frites" lol you re soooooooo welcome at my home!!! Can you share some hairstyle for bob hair cut? I have cut them but i m doing always the same with my hot curlers! Lot of kisssss!!
I'd love to see more styles that work well without bangs. Also ones where you don't have to set your hair. I'm terribly lazy about curling my hair since it has to be a wet set or it won't hold.
What would you recommend wearing with the snood (clothes wise)? I think the look is super cute, but the internet only shows it with fancier dresses and that is impractical for daily use.
who_is_the_doctor Go with any classic 40's look, jumpsuit, day dress or trousers and blouse. Or, go with the equivalent 50's style. Lots of factory workers would wear snoods during WWII to keep their hair out of machinery.

Does the word snood remind anyone else of a thnead from The Lorax? No? Just me? Alright. Anyway, great video! :)
Destiny Marie YES! I was thinking that the other day.
Destiny Marie I always think that when I hear or see the word SNOOD! LOL
Everyone do do do do do do do do need a snood... Yeah it works!!!
A snood is a hood for your hair that is good. A snood is a good way to wear up your hair. Yep, very Dr Seuss lol
Not just you! !!!

Does your hair fall a lot from dying it that often and for such a long period of time?

who_is_the_doctor Snoods were actually traditionally worn as a more casual style! You can really wear them with anything!

ThatOneZombie1 Looks like she used Session Series by TIGI Catwalk for this one.
Katt Williams wore this a couple years ago lol
Would you consider a snood to be more casual or formal? Or both? Haha
