I can see how fortunate or what a blessing it is to have a humble and wise man of God by your side as a husband. Lately I've noticed, Alex seems more and more mature. I thought that maybe Lokelani was more charged cause she's kinda more mature (even Alex said that she's more mature 😅), but she kept being humble and submissive to her husband and she encouraged him to be a good father and to seek more from God, which resulted in him being edified and matured in the Lord. It makes me think how in the world people get divorced when they see that their parter is lacking in something (even though they were the ones who chose that person being that way), people look for every tiny reason to get divorced, but once in the lord people are called to keep doing what you're calle to do, to fulfill your duty and role as a husband, as a wife, no matter if your spouse is lacking in something, cause your example will bear fruit's in the life of your spouse (in love, with respect; doesn't mean to allow abuse and let things get to a point where you have to run out of your house to save your children's life). there couldn't of been better timing for when i got to watch this , you both truly encouraged me as a mom of two and currently expecting my 3rd child and was starting to get discouraged earlier this week, i don't know anyone of my age 27, that have more than two, and its admirable to see that you both have created a gorgeous family and you do God's work no matter how busy life can get. My husband and I have been wanting to visit hawaii but i could never be without my children for more than a day let alone leave them in arizona to go overseas, so ill most likely bring my whole family, gladly because they are Gods children and deserve a nice time as well. better knowing that we are unselfish for bringing forth children to embrace having them, im in awe with our Lord for the children He has given us, there's an abundance to rejoice about. thank you for the insightful words you both speak, it definitely helps me in my path to make sure to stay God centered and bringing up my children to celebrate Christ !

This touches home so hard. I remember those who looked at my family like watching TV😂. Being the youngest of eight back then I didn’t know why it was happening. Remembering my mother telling me, (when I did ask) when people stare just smile and nod. Which I still do now because I was looked at as being odd being single with no kids. People assumed that something was wrong, as if I could not look this way and be without a husband and children. Lord God I pray that You reset me according to the assignment that has been placed in my heart to do Your Will. Clarity I yearn for.

I will not lie. Lately, I feel like I have been struggling with lust and watching porn and sometimes it feels really hard not to fall into sin. So I hope anyone who sees this will pray for me as I am praying to God for Strength and His love.
Brother, I understand your struggle and I have a lot of sympathy and empathy for your situation. I often find myself struggling with the same things but there is plenty of things to help you break this situation. One thing that helped me understand how bad my situation was that when you have those thoughts your pre frontal cortex has the same reaction as it would with addiction. Your logical thinking gets blinded by the overwhelming feeling of lust which causes you to come back to porn. Second thing that helped me was finding the root cause of why I had lustful thoughts. Often times on RUclips, tiktok, or any sort of social media you can come across ads or videos that you don’t want to see. More often than not it plants a seed inside your head to o continue thinking about porn and lust. Thirdly PRAY. I have plenty of other things that helped me grow away from porn but I hope those two helped. I will be praying for you and GOD BLESS.
Like the message in this video, fix your eyes on Jesus by reading (studying/understanding) the bible, praying and fasting...spending time with God in general literally changes us. We cannot change on our own strength. It is God (through the Holy Spirit) who will change our heart's desires naturally the more time we spend with Him. paraphrasing what @subzone7730 said... the devil has captured all forms of media because he understands the principle that you become what you fix your eyes on. It is no coincidence that so many of us struggled with watching porn and lustful desires. He has been after our hearts from the very beginning and so every second advert that we see is intentional to plant lustful thoughts and desires in us. So I'd say fix your eyes on God. If you fall back into watching porn, still run back to God. Do not let the devil plant thoughts in your mind of shame, guilt, fear that God does not love you. That is a trap to keep you feeling separated from God's love. Romans 8:38 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Hey Alex and Lokelani, I love this podcast and respect you both greatly. Alex I respect you as a teacher and feel as if you are very knowledgeable of the things pertaining to God. I’m 16 years old and have been a believer for about 3-4 years (been walking committed to the Lord for about 1-2 years) Throughout my walk I have questioned the application of the mosaic law to our daily lives, and have done a lot of studying and praying, and I feel as if God has told be to buy tassels, but in times before I have been conflicted. I’d love to hear your understanding about the whole law and how it applies to our lives today. (One thing I go back to is in Matthew 5 where Jesus says nothing from the law will pass away, and they that don’t do the least of the commandments will be considered least in the kingdom of heaven.)

We’re blessed with our first right now. I took birth control for a long time due to endometriosis and adenomyosis, and wound up having to have surgeries because of it as well. It’s been rough but I’m going into five months now! We want two at least if it happens 😅
Matthew 27:46 where Jesus says “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me” is a hyperlink to Psalm 22 which is a prophecy of Jesus and in Psalm 22:24 it says “…he has not hidden his face from him…”. I cannot find anywhere that scripture says “the father turned his face away” but I can find prophecy (Psalm 22) that Jesus made reference to while on the cross that seems to say the opposite.
I feel like you guys are humiliating me for NOT wanting kids. It's hard I used to want kids growing up but the way I see the world I just don't see it being something I want anymore.
