All of a sudden I feel like there should’ve been more synth in this, what I think is one of the top 3 most important movies of the 80s. The retro wave puts you right back in 1983!!!
Synth is, by far, a much better encapsulation of the 1980 sound. People don't seem to realize that those awesome synths back then weren't nearly as clear or popularly used in such amazing ways as you artists in retrowave/synth/synthwave/whatever you call yourselves lmao I actually vastly prefer this genre than the music of the 1980s because you do strike all the best sounds of that time. I hope this keeps going and more people are inspired by you and the other artists who've mastered these sounds.
you should try to put vocals in your songs like in the hystreria cover. excellent songwriting with a melodic clear voice and good vocal melodies it will fly up to the stars
