Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. I think, I wasn't clear enough when I said GalaxyBuds are not loud enough and the sound quality is not good. I prepared this simple video comparing GalaxyBuds to a $30 in-ear headphones: ruclips.net/video/Bf65K2yIXQM/видео.html I'm sure this will clear things up. Once again thank you so much for being here. And see you on the next one! 🦄🍫
Lol. That latency test (with Fortnite) was a scientifically poor experiment. He used the Galaxy phone to test the Galaxy Buds, and the iPhone for the AirPods. So, what he tested and compared, could have well been (and most likely was) the overall input lag (which obviously also leads to "sound lag") when playing Fortnite between the two phones, the Galaxy S10+ and the iPhone XS Max. If he really wanted to focus on only the ear buds, he should have tested the ear buds with both phones. That's how a real "scientific experiment", as y'all call this video, should be performed. I would be willing to bet that, if you looked it up, you would find that the input lag when playing Fortnite is larger on Android (S10+) compared to iOS (iPhone XS Max). You guys are too quick to say "OMG, this guy is such a good reviewer", just because he is showing something you have never seen before.
@@dfuma213 I highly doubt that. But OK. I have even slowed the video down to 0.5x, you can clearly see the input lag. The time starts running as soon as he touches the screen, but you then clearly see that it takes a while before you see the gun firing (muzzle flash). There is definitely some latency still between the seeing the gun firing and hearing the gun, but it is definitely not as high as he is suggesting. And to take my criticism even further, why did he not use the same gun in both gameplays? Or am I being to critical? I actually do not think so The thing is, the guys channel name is iPhonedo, so I'm obviously a bit more skeptical as to how trustworthy his tests and words would be, and by making these kinda "mistakes" (which could well have been done on purpose, to persuade the generally not-so-critic RUclips audience, that is fairly easy blown away by some "high-tech tests"), he's only makes it harder for me to believe that he is unbiased. Even if the conclusion that the AirPods are better is true, I just have a hard time believing it from what is clearly and he's not even hiding it, an Apple fan...
sound quality is the worst part of airpods. lack of noice cancelling and disturbing other people in the bus. to me, galaxy buds are way better than airpods except hands-free usability. loudness of airpods should louder when it compared to galaxy buds because, airpods doesn't have the "earplug" design. galaxy buds just sealing the ear canal and isolates background noise (passive noise cancellation + active). this is a personal thing and i'm loving the earplug design

I just bought galaxy buds and they pretty amazing.. the best thing is that the sound quality is better on galaxy and this is equal to 90% of other categories.
Many high end headphones example Sennheiser HD 600 / HD 800 are Open Back headphones with no Noise Cancelling. Airpods is actually quite similar to Open back headphones and many dont really notice this part. I might be wrong.
What a review, sir! Thank you for not just reading whats on the specs sheet, and talking about features, but actually testing the quality and performance of what you're getting. This must be an eye opener for a lot of people. More features (usually gimmicky) does not always equal better value. Wtf is Dolby Atmos doing on a 2ch earphones. Lmao.
With the mic test, have you checked the settings for Voice over LTE? iPhone could be using higher quality voice depending on your carrier and settings. I too did a phone recording of mic quality of my air pods, big difference in mic quality on 3G network vs 4G with Voice over LTE switched on. (Possibly do a mic test with S10 buds connected to iPhone so the settings and phone are the same, therefore only the mic quality being tested). Cheers for the detailed effort in this vid
@@tobias2461 The problem is with the review, he puts the airpods in to the tubes to check the sound. They'll never produce the sound in the ears as they'll do in the tubes.

As a sound engineer, I appreciate the work you put into this and really do not understand how people can dislike this video. Butthurt samsheep I guess...
Ain't buttheard, he just made a shitty review. You can put all the stuff on paper but in real time use galaxy buds have much better sound quality, they seal on your ears. Air pods leak in and out sound so are required for you to blow out your ear drums to cancel out noise, galaxy buds do not. And in no world do the airpods have better bass or highs than the galaxy buds
Issa Muqbel man I’m not going to argue with someone who does not seem to know much about sound science and plus I don’t use wireless headphones, they all suck. This video compared two products and showed using science than one is better than the other overall. Case closed
@@THIS_IS_SPARTA696 well first off I do understand sound science, and they do both "suck" when you compare them to something a lot better. That's a given. Second, in comparison between airpods and galaxy buds, galaxy buds stay in your ear, have a way more dynamic range. His tests implemented everything he had on paper, nothing actually exemplified what an actual user experiences with the device. The galaxy buds having the gel tips and actually being sealed actually lets the user feel the lows in songs where in the airpods that is not the case. So dont act like you're high and mighty and know everything.

i think its too much. who the f*ck cares about half the things he just said. portability, comfort, sound and battery life. all in which gaalaxy buds is better in right from the package. without purchasing more stuff above the already 129-199 dollars you pay for this sh*t.
@@koek1122 Galaxy buds: Teribble portability (due to the flat, fat design of the case and an annoying way to get the earbuds in the case), sharp ear pains after 3 hours of listening, sound is mediocre compared to airpods (as shown in the video), and battery life is more than thrice on the airpods. You only get 7 extra hours with the samsung earbuds case vs 24 extra hours on the airpods case (mind you the airpods take only 15 minutes to get 3 hours of listening time after they die). They're going to flop just like the Gear IconX (those were $199, more expensive than the Airpods 1, and far worse than the airpods when they were released!).
@@CreelKyle gear iconx were shit for sure. Galaxy buds are better in portability. Due to its pill design it fits easier within small spaces in your backpack or pockets. They're significantly lower priced. The batter life: whoops you forgot about the fact you can charge your earbuds on your phone. If you dont like bass than the airpods sound decent, but to me airpods have bassless sounds which is absolute crap to me. Low, mid- and high ends I want to hear them all. You can have the crispiest highs, but the lacking of lows just ruins the way the artists intended you listen to their music. Those are actual facts. and I have both earbuds. And they're good for different reasons for different devices. I would recommend the airpods for a galaxy phone and vice versa in terms of comparability. The galaxy buds do fit great in my hear.. the airpods fall out every single time.. it scares me to wear them and I only wear then when I'm not moving.. which is almost never. fatal flaw in his testing, the way he is testing is isolating the airpods by making a seal on the tube which does not happen on the ear. So in reality the airpods perform way worse than shown in all this testing as your ear has no seal on the airpods and half the sound and 80% of the bass escapes.
Hey, they arent really quiet, i too noticed it after long but the buds have a separate volume meter to them. Go to touchpad settings, change the left and right hold to volume controls and max out the volume on the buds and on the phone. they are way louder than the airpods.

every other vid said that the sound on galaxy buds are better
Hello what app are you using to test the sound
Finally, science is used for comparison. You are one of the best reviewers!
Nice video as always, but did you set the volume to max on the galaxy buds? It is quiet, but whe you set it to max, they play also loud.
no one can review like iPhonedo it's really great, it's in different league of review category.
I've used both but I found that the airpods were way too quiet. I think it's because the airpods are not as well sealed in the ear. I've never found the airpods to be louder. Also, I would say that the galaxy buds are also better sounding.
what are u talking about???? of course galaxy buds will sound quieter because there is more isolation, yo dont want to blow your ears. i have it both first gen airpods and galaxy buds, airpods are not even close and most of the sound disappears because there is no isolation. anyone who has galaxy buds im sure max volume is way more than enough and the base is solid. i dont even use airpods anymore make no sense comparing to galaxy buds, im talking real life experience not just some bullshit tests, im sure everybody will agree with me if you try it both.
Best review on the planet. My first gen Airpods last only an hour now, I was going to upgrade it but I heard about powerbeats pro and I was excited for the possibility for us to see a truly wireless version of BeatsX, so I'm waiting.
My AirPods first gen apparently lost half their sound quality (volume) and apples solution was to buy new ones. And no they are not clogged with wax
Lovely review. To avoid clipping it's good that the samsungs EQ lowers the overall gain when boosting frequencies. Def have the airpods on the list
Um you didn't turn up volume on the Galaxy buds themselves
ricoviii1 they have separate volumes 😂😂😂 not surprised from android and Samsung

@@samsam060402 just because someone points out a problem that apple doesnt have doesnt make him a fan boy. I recommend watching a video "It's time to stop hating on apple users" by Everything apple. Also so what if he likes apple? Please explain to me what is so wrong with apple that requires you to basically insult him for no reason? No one gives a fuck about you and your opinion so shut up and stop being a whiny bitch just because you're too arrogant to relise that apple made a way better product then samsung. the fact you wont accept that means you're actually fan boying over samsung.
@@samsam060402 Saying one thing is better than another overall isnt being a fan boy its stating a fact like google is better than internet explorer and a fact is that the airpods ARE better than the galaxy buds and this video proved it. By saying that doesnt make you a fan boy since the actual definition is "a male fan, especially one who is obsessive about comics, music, movies, or science fiction." so stop pulling shit out of your ass and the person didnt say anything was better than anything overall i did since it is which was proved by this video. And yes I like apple products because it suits my person preference and you can jail break an iphone which would take just as much effort to do if you wanted to make an impact on your experience on an android phone since it treats you like an admin which most people don't use to fullest extent because it takes too much effort for such little outcome and thats why only a small minority and big companies do it. And yes android is great but so it IOS/Apple products. And i didnt criticise you for pointing out its a samsung problem i was criticising you for calling him a fan boy. And if android treats you like an admin so much why didnt you go and fix it yourself and why did you leave the samsung to fix it since gives you so much freedom you should of fixed it yourself
You’re the only one did a really in-depth review and comparison between the Airpods 2 and Galaxy Buds. A salute this video, really great job.
I just bought galaxy buds and they pretty amazing.. the best thing is that the sound quality is better on galaxy and this is equal to 90% of other categories.
Awesome DETAILED review
Great work!!!!!
Many high end headphones example Sennheiser HD 600 / HD 800 are Open Back headphones with no Noise Cancelling. Airpods is actually quite similar to Open back headphones and many dont really notice this part. I might be wrong.
Hands down the best AirPods2 review! Your creative testing of the sound and latency has no match so far. Thank you for putting in the effort 🙏🏼
Lmao.
Latency test, iPhonedo is the best reviewer for Apple products *HANDS DOWN!*
Exactly, for Apple products. And he does not give real impressions pn other products.
Non sense test. Airbuds don''t get deep in your ears.
they never fit my ears, so i am perfectly fine with apple airpods
@@tobias2461 The problem is with the review, he puts the airpods in to the tubes to check the sound. They'll never produce the sound in the ears as they'll do in the tubes.
@@SerdarBekiroglu oh yeah, that is actually a good point
@@SerdarBekiroglu 7 months later and he keeps repeating this same flawed testing method, the airpods have almost no bass in your ears but the tube creates a seal as if they were in ear like the galaxy buds so they sound better then they really sound in your ears, i had both but i chose to keep the galaxy buds
@@TVCHLORD shut up fanboys first let tgem create a faster connection in android
So should I get AirPods while using a Samsung phone?
As a sound engineer, I appreciate the work you put into this and really do not understand how people can dislike this video. Butthurt samsheep I guess...
Yes they are all butthurt samsheeps bro
As opposed to retarded iSheep that get butthurt every time Samsung make a better product (literally all the time) ?
Still rocking first-generation AirPods, as well as a first-generation Apple Watch. I'm holding off on upgrading both of them until I upgrade from my existing iPhone SE to an iPhone XR.
13:03 that’s what i am always pointing out. the pillow thing
I had that idea for ear tips for Airpods lol, glad they already exist. I plan on buying one. Music while I work about to be amazeballs
Stunning review, story, editing. Best tech youtuber.

Real fun real review great...;-) Got the AirPods 2, first time for me, very happy with them.
this is the last video which I luckily saw before buying my airpods. and today exactly after 24hrs I am watching this video again with airpods in ear. Thank you so much for making it really easy to decide between samsung buds and airpods :) great video.
Airpods are like old school Apple: quality with fair price.

Wow you actually snapped. Very comprehensive, truly impressive. Keep goin!
I am asking just out of curiosity. Is that headphone recorder device makes airpods sound better because of the isolation? I think we can not hear airpods how the recorder hears.
You can get a pretty good seal with airpods. Obviously your mileage may vary

Now THIS, is a real comparison review
i think its too much. who the f*ck cares about half the things he just said. portability, comfort, sound and battery life. all in which gaalaxy buds is better in right from the package. without purchasing more stuff above the already 129-199 dollars you pay for this sh*t.
Vino sitas call quality, mike is crap on GPods.
If you have big ears, it's a waste of money honestly.
@@CreelKyle it doesnt matter how many hours you have with the case when you can charge them with your phone. Wait... you cant do that iPhone boy :).
My crazy Ivan( or some version ) , this is one hell of an interesting review , and far more complete than the other ones out there. Ya nailed it bro, keep it up and interesting !!

Watching this using AirPod 2. The best Apple product in a long time.
AirPods produce louder sound. But which of these actually sounds louder in the ear because Galaxy Buds seal your in ears & AirPods don't.
Well, if apple wanted to design the AirPods that way, they’d have done it but yet, they make a quality products not what Samsung jammed with gimmicks. I’d rather choose quality over crappy gimmicks

The best review ever compared to other youtuber. PLEASE PLEASE make a review on the Powerbeats Pro when they come out! TYVM IN ADVANCE
fatal flaw in his testing, the way he is testing is isolating the airpods by making a seal on the tube which does not happen on the ear. So in reality the airpods perform way worse than shown in all this testing as your ear has no seal on the airpods and half the sound and 80% of the bass escapes.
bromz hence, the ear foams.
Hey, they arent really quiet, i too noticed it after long but the buds have a separate volume meter to them. Go to touchpad settings, change the left and right hold to volume controls and max out the volume on the buds and on the phone. they are way louder than the airpods.

Really nice job on the review, but i must say, the part with Google assistant not working on the Buds it's not true, mine work just fine, and why forgot to mention the touch control on the Buds?
Also the fatigue you get from the iPods it's way worse than of the buds. Seems like this is not really an impartial review.
