While I thoroughly enjoy your channel, this is not quite right. The NFC North is the best and toughest division in the NFL. When a potential 14 win team is second in the division, with a 12 win team in 3rd - all going to the post season - that's a tough division.
Though to be fair, Jared Goff is 30 right now and it's unlikely (unless a Superbowl win happens) that the Vikings keep Sam Darnold. So if you're looking for "bright future", the NFCN's future will dim sooner than the AFC West's will, as their three top QBs will be around for at least another 6-12 years. Also, both the Lions and Vikings coordinators have to be top picks to become head coach's in the near future, so we'll see what happens.
NFC North is better than the AFC West hands down. Bears>Raiders Packers>Chargers Vikings>Broncos Lions=Chiefs I’d also say that the NFC North is more set up for the future. Bears just need good coaching. Vikings just need to make sure that Sam Darnold and JJ McCarthy can throw the ball. Packers need Jordan Love to stay healthy and the Lions just need everyone to stay healthy.
I would put the NFC North over the AFC West. Because the top 3 teams in the NFC North can all beat the 2 and 3 of the AFC west easy. They only team they would have a hard time with its the Chiefs. But then again the video is about Promising Future not current state so I think it can go either way.
I know I’m a Vikings fan and that might make me a little biased but there’s no way that nfc north isn’t the best division. I’m not sure how you could even argue against that.
TPS I hope you redo this video and swap #1 and #2 immediately. Lions (13-2): When fully healthy the best team in the NFL Vikings (12-3): Ton of young talent with a rookie QB learning behind a vet Packers (11-4): Youngest roster in the NFL with star youngsters Bears (4-12): Ruining their division’s status even though their division should still be #1 (Will get a high draft pick in 2025) No way the AFC West tops this.

The packers are one of the youngest teams in the league, even after loosing their promising rookie Sam darnold comes out of nowhere and puts up an unreal season, the lions are arguably better than the chiefs even with having more than have their defensive starters being injured, and the bears just need someone to coach them. Plus among the top 7 records in the nfl 3 of them are in the nfc north
NFC North is by far the best division. Add a coach in Chicago and all 4 teams could make the playoffs. AFC West can't be the best with a team as bad as the Raiders
Nah, NFC North should be 1st. Raiders just drags that division down a spot. The bears haven’t been the best, but they have potential, we are talking about the divisions future as a whole, not just what they have achieved and proven
Nfc north has a brighter future because the packers have the youngest team the lions have an amazing coach and the vikings are working with what they have and it's very impressive.
Just be honest, the Chiefs are in the AFC west and the world can't stop blowing them. Which division had 3 CLINCHED playoff teams with 3 weeks left in the season?
Love the channel but this feels like a miss. NFC North has to be the best division at the moment. Also saying the NFC East is 4th and the AFC West is 1st is weird considering that both divisions have one out and out post season candidate, two teams that could make a wildcard round when on form (with one of those essentially building a team under a rookie QB) and then one team being in tank city for a rebuild.
Guys stop the hate, while it’s clear as day that the NFC north is the best division in football, the title of this video is “Ranking all 8 NFL divisions based on their promising FUTURES (had to emphasize that) from first to last”. The AFC West has so much young talent and have a very promising future as we have Mahomo, Herbert, Nix, and soon to be sanders. You’re delusional to think that this division doesn’t have the most promising future out of all of the divisions. As I stated earlier, it’s undeniable that the NFC north is the best division in football right now but do you really think they are going to be this in 2 years with an aging Jared Goff and Sam Darnold?. not likely hence the title of the video of Promising futures.
NFC North still has a more promising future. GB is the youngest team in the league and the NFC North contains a 13-2, 12-3, and 11-4 team while the AFC West contains a 15-1, 10-6 and 9-7 team. NFC North is by far more proven than the AFC West and is overall the better division, meaning that he should have no evidence that the AFC West will be better in the following years to come. NFC North will dominate in the future for a while.
Yes. The North this year has 3 teams with 11 or more wins. All theses teams have their superstars signed long term and they have SALARY CAP space next year. Time will tell. One thing I do know is the past in the NFL very rarely dictates the future of the NFL.
NFC East 1982-1995 Redskins/Giants/Eagles/Cowboys / 7-1 in Super Bowls-- every division game was a War. And as a Skins fan, id say some of those Eagles Teams were better than any AFC team then. Good Times.
What holds the NFC North out of the #1 slot are the Bears. Not only do they not have a head coach, as a franchise they have a proven track record of NOT being able to develop qb's.
Keep in mind that the same front offices that put the NFC North on top now will be determining the division's future. As a Lions fan, I can assure you that good drafts, good trades, and good coaching are more important than personel. The Lions have had 65 years of high picks in the draft and almost never had a winning record.
It's hard to argue that NFC North isn't the #1 division. The loser of the Detroit / Minnesota game with be a 14-win wildcard team. Let that sink in. Green Bay will be a 12-win wildcard team. The only subpar team is the Chicago Bears and they have a scary future with a new coach. Compare that to the AFC West, which has the Chiefs barely winning most of their games, the Chargers and Broncos on a roller coaster ride, and the Raiders vying for a #1 draft pick.

Vikings haven't even brought in their rookie QB yet into a system that's only lost 2 games so far. Bears are still figuring things out but have some good pieces to open their Super Bowl window soon. Chiefs are getting old and had a lot of help from a weak schedule this year. Broncos and Chargers are both young and promising but still need some pieces to be legit contenders. Raiders (unfortunately my team) are incompetently run and need a lot of things to go right soon to be taken seriously.
