It's an extremely abstract portion of the song, no doubt, but I think Yoshiki accurately relayed the subject of the song's descent into insanity to the audience, and then his gradual return to some stability before the final verse picks things up again. It's calculated chaos.
Listening to this by itself is like listening to the end of Symphony X's The Odyssey by itself. It's just so much more effective after hearing the rest of the song.
