The thing that I realized the most after watching the show is how very underutilized some of these girls are in their respective groups. Juri in particular stood out to me a lot. I must admit that I wasn't the biggest fan of her when I first saw her in Produce 48, but she has grown so much that she's now my favourite Rocket Punch member and probably even one of my most favourite idols of all time.
Elly, Fye and Dohwa were the hidden gems. I also started liking Soobin a lot. Felt bad for Jiwon. The editing team never liked Cherry Bullet. I also felt like she got necessarily dragged because of the hate Bora got. I definitely agreed about the popularity contest. So many of the live judges were heavily biased and no one can tell me otherwise lol.
I haven't put together a full performance ranking, but I have a good idea of what my top 5 would be: Time of Our Life (This performance is a perfect balance of pure fun and emotionally touching and I love it) Fighting (I love theatre kid energy in my kpop performances) Hopeless Romantic (The most unexpectedly phenomenal combination of four girls. They were magic.) Billionaire (I love performances where you can tell that the performers are having fun.) Nxde (The themes and ideas behind the performance are worthy of the top spot, but in the actual performance I thought the vocals were a bit lacking.) We don't need to talk about how bad a lot of the editing was on Queendom Puzzle. I'll just say the fact that no Cherry Bullet members even made the finale is a crime.
Yeah, I didn't expect it going into the show but as soon as Bora and Jiwon did the first puzzle, it was obvious who they were going to evil edit into oblivion unfortunately.
Last piece isn't my favourite song of the show but yeah the performance ATE UP, Yeeun was so savage, MOTHER, and she was literally the last piece lol. I personally enjoyed IDGA so much because the first time I watched I do it was so messy for me i couldn't understand a single sing but the song is good tho~ puzzlin is one of my favourite songs~ but yeah the performance was kinda boring. and yes Fye SERVED in her every performance I was so upset she didn't make it to finale. YES YES YES YES the Hopeless romantic performance was soooooo good😭 the emotions were REAL and their voices were gorgeous! And pls do tell me what is your intro's instrumental it's so familiar to my ears! And the outro is Closer right?
I love your ranking!💖 Bad Blood was to me the best song and the best stage of the show, so above all the rest, I don't mind mistakes💝 But my love is Hwiseo, and she was awesome in everything: Last Piece, Idga, Time of Our Life, Glow up, Shut Down, TomBoy and Snap🤩 And by the way, I love Puzzlin song very much💕
Is a taste thing, for me Billionaire is waaay much better song that last piece, for me it was more pleasent to watch (choreo, vocals, expressions), Yeoreum was the only one who caught my eye in Last piece. Same with bad blood, I was rooting for Queendom team and damn, such a great song and again, the girls on it killed it and made me forget the mistakes :)
I can probably tell you why no one is talking about last piece. 2 points. Lipsyncing... also for kpop is was quite messy with the girls not fully in time. So it was sorta a repeat of Bad Blood... just not as obvious. But like... can we talk about the quality between Billionaire and Last Piece.
I obviously dont blame any of the girls for making mistakes in Bad Blood or not being totally synced in Last Piece, give such a short time to prepare !

Yeah like bora got so much hate for something nana and hwiseo did without any problems. Like hwiseo was being shady the whole show and people ate it up cause she wasnt evil edited. Girlie is talented and was one of my top seven but I replaced her with yuki.

It's clear that she did not impress me during the show, even though I know how good of a rapper she is ! She didnt prove herself here, mostly because she got like no screentime at all... so yeah, she was kind of invisible in this show, but I'm happy for her !
