@@ArgonautDrums I think just having the cymbal library of actual Zildjian Cymbals in a plugin would be really cool. They should definitely release it. One thing I found odd is the drums sound suspiciously A LOT like ATV drums. Especially that metal kit. There's a patch in my XD3 that sounds very much like that.
@@demonicsweaters over on the vdrums forum, folks have said that Mike Snyder (formerly with ATV, currently with Zildjian) was involved in development of this kit. Maybe some stuff carried over.
for the drumheads theyre probaby replaceable with any other type of mesh head, the cymbals you would very likely have to contact zildjian for a replacement or some form of re enbursement.
I love the look of the kit. I love the sound of and general approach to the cymbals. I want to purchase a new e-kit in the next month AND I would be willing to pay premium. Still, I hate to say it, but: I don´t think it will be the Alchem-E. Even without all the mis-triggering, which I think will be solved with firmware-updates until it's release; The sounds of the toms are awful. They sound on par with an entry-level e-Kit for 1/10 to 1/20 of the price. I think that´s unacceptable.
Great job solving the e-cymbal challenge Zildjian 🔥🔥🔥Would love to purchase a standalone cymbal module + cymbals and sound packs from Zildjians unique legacy and catalouge 👌Many would since most have their drums, stands and other hardware in place. Zildjian could sell endless cymbal modules, e-cymbals and sound packs if offered. Zildjian could produce numerous sound packs from the impressive cymbal legacy. Any chance this is also offered and soon? Seems like the most obvious route. Great job on the full scale solution. Now hooping for cymbal solution too from Zildjian instead from a copycat competitor. It’s a no brainer and your cymbal market for the taking 🏵🏆Would be great to get a reply on this…🤘🔥🔥🔥
@@caesarsheadache No but there is a lot of discussion about it on the Vdrums forums and quite a few videos showing this. Go check it out for yourself. I did a chart with all the cymbals shown above.
@@djashjones i will try eventually and let that be they deciding factor. Till date I have not seen anything I would rather try than this compared to acoustic. It is hard to appreciate rubber cymbals. This looks promising but yes of course triggering must work. Impossible to talk about. Only actual playing will reveal the level of precision.i for one appreciate the effort even if I am purely interested in the cymbals.
@@caesarsheadache It will be the Hi-hat. All electronic kits have an OK hi-hat. While I regard the Roland digital Hi-hat as the best. I still play my L80's. So I'm hoping these will be a step up from Roland's Digital and thin cymbals but doubtful the Zildjian will be as good as naked L80's.
i played one- it was pretty bad. there was no sensitivity, it sounded like someone playing on garageband with their fingers, and the sounds were pretty meh. definitely not worth the, what was it, like 6 grand? don’t buy one- wait two years, then it will be amazing.
I like the fact that you can choose from any of the Zildjian cymbals for the sounds you want
Please release a VST to use with existing drums! I would buy that right now!
It wouldn't be better than SD3, but I'd still grab it though lol

@@ArgonautDrums I KNEW IT!!!
I hope they adress the awfull machinegunning of the drums.......
It's incredibly frustrating that this remains the Achille's Heel of most standalone modules. Such a simple fix.
Minute 1:52: 😑 He never touched the 21" Custom Mega Bell ride.
Rookie mistake
Beautiful. Is there a new E-Vault module ? Some dealers told me that they are waiting for the new updated module.
It can be said that it is an evolved version of GEN 16... It's surprising that it even came with a drum kit
How long has this been out and still no manual on the module or instrument list?
What happens if u break one of the cymbals or heads

Cymbals sound great but the drums sound like electronic drums... please release a cymbals only version.
is it me or do the drums not sound great for a 4k plus kit? Hit it out of the park with the cymbals but the drum tones... not so much IMO

They need to fix the mis-triggering first.

Zildjian would sell more if they released just a cymbal kit to pair with already established e drum sets like Pearl and Roland.
I think they should focus on making the drums and cymbals and pair with Roland module.
Who is this Drummer!!!?????

Not fair to compare cymbals and drums.
good cymbals but the drum sounds suck :D
