    Why does this channel only have 600 subs? I see a lot of potential, keep up the good work.

    Thanks for the video, Josh. The master of the "slow hutter" effect is Hong Kong director Wong Kar Wai and the Step Printing effect (Chung King Express, As Tears Go By, or my favorite film of his, Days of Being Wild). Although that Step Printing effect is much more elaboarate than what you have outlined here. Also, while watching this video, I came up with a completely silly and useless idea. Since you are using a handheld dynamic mic, maybe considering putting a shroud around it? Like, put your mic inside of a Mister Microphone case, or inside of one of those green Kraft Parmesan Cheese cans, or inside a Garfield stuffie.

    Hi Josh! What's the picture profile you use for your yt videos and luts?love to buy them

      The picture profile in my camera is C-Log2. And then for LUTs I’m using the Gamut BaseLUTs for conversation from log to rec709. And I’m using a mix of the Native LUTs and the 606 LUTs to color grade.

    I can't go below 25fps for some reason... any idea?

      It really depends on your camera. Sorry, wish I could be more of a help.

      It’s such a fun effect! And it doesn’t feel over stylized like some trends do.

    I shot with the c70 using the low shutter but on premiere it shows up as a high speed clip? Any tips on how to import these clips on Premiere Pro?

    • @JoshBirman

      Can you explain more about the “high speed clip”? Like is it showing up as a 60fps clip?

    • @GebrielAbebeBalcha
      @GebrielAbebeBalcha 4 месяца назад

      @@JoshBirman yes! It shows as a clip at 59.94fps

      Is it possible you had your frame rate set to 60fps when you filmed? Are you able to check the frame rate outside of Premiere?

      @@JoshBirman yeah, one Explorer the video clip is at 60fps

      Just make sure you film in 24fps next time you use the slow shutter effect and you should be good 👍🏻
