    Your intro had me laughing! The booktube lingo can definitely be confusing if you don’t keep up with it
    You should definitely read Wuthering Heights when you get the chance! I’d love to hear your thoughts on it

    You rambled. I subbed. Lol. I love Penguin Classics. I’m glad I stumbled across this. I recently read Slan and felt the same.

    Glad I could nudge you into making this, and honoured to have given you your first booktube tag assigment!
    Though I may have been a bad influence on you with my 'cheapest available version' habit, giving you the impression that those are the only Penguin Classics! They can sometimes come in other forms than the mass market black spines. There are the deluxe editions and clothbounds, and more :D I can see you own the deluxe editions of Homer back there, haha. Then there are those offshoots like Penguin Modern/20th Century Classics, which I didn't count in my video either. Anyway, we must have similar tastes since we both held up different John Steinbeck epics for our favourites of the collection! I adore East of Eden, and actually used to own that same edition before I donated it to a prison. But I definitely think it's due for a re-read, maybe next year... >.>

      Not a bad example at all. Your video was great! Besides, I need limitations or this would have spiraled into chaos. I really must reread “East of Eden” in ‘24. If the stars align perhaps we can “compare notes” or something.
      I think its really wonderful that you donated you copy of Wrath. I’ve been tossing around the same idea about some of our overstock (there is considerable). While looking I thought I’d found all our Penguins until I remembered to check the shelves in our bedroom, which is where I found Grimscribe and my copy of Pohl’s Gateway (that I gave up on searching for while making that video🙄).

      @@literallybooks Yeah, I'd be into buddy-reading East of Eden! :P That is, if I have time to get to it--next year I'm gonna try to focus on only reading the biggest of my unread novels, each around 1,000 pages o.O;;
      Yes, donating books feels great :D Ironically I'm trying to make a video about donating a big batch of books to the prison system again, but I literally haven't heard back from the people that take donations, so I can't finish my video about it, haha. But yeah, you should look around and see who's looking for donations! Give your books a second life!

      I’ll pencil in Eden for next year and we’ll keep our fingers crossed. Really looking forward to seeing your donation video, such a great idea, and when goes live you can absolutely count on my view.

      @@literallybooks Sounds good!
      I may have to try getting in touch with other means of donating my books to prisons than what I'm currently doing--maybe it'll end up being a more involved process than I originally thought lol

      Oof. I hope it works out. Helping a group of people that get so little empathy is really commendable. I’m rooting for you!
