If Joe ever wants to get rid of that beauty, the Gray Ghost is my Holy Grail. I couldn't find one and ended up buying the 30th Anniversary Fat Boy but I've never stopped wanting the original 1990 Gray Ghost. Still on the hunt for one ❤
The first Softails were produced in 1983 and branded as 84 models. FX Softails were available in several different frame and sheet metal matching color combos. I wish Joe many more years with his mint Fat-Boy 👍
I don't think you guys realize just how much it means to him to be a part of something so cool at his age! You brought a new boost of life to that cool ass old man! You guys are too fucking awesome for that! An I'm sure him an his family will forever be grateful! Smokin Joe your the man!
That bike is as old as I am.. and it looks like it rolled off the showroom floor!! Joe is the man and kruesi is the man keep ‘em coming!! And keep talking your shit kruesi!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Joe sounds like a mob boss. Mixing a little Gambino crime family with the Krusei gang. What a sweet bike though Man that thing looks pristine. Can only imagine what it looks like in person.
Ryan, thanks for sharing your content with your friend Joe. He sounds like a super cool guy, and I hope I'm still riding and keeping my bikes shined like him when i'm 83...hell I only got 25 years to go!
Folks relationships with Harley-Davidsons are complicated, like all human experiences. Joe's relationship with his Fat Boy changed during the video. Joe gave a compelling argument to keep it original, but quickly changed because of Kruesi's generosity. There is more myths, here say about the FatBoy about it's origin, design and ride than any bike The Motor Company has ever produced. Thank you for sharing, Ride Free
Well, Ryan I love your videos. You're my favorite bike builder. But this, this one was awesome. Love seeing Joe in your content. This one was awesome. Thanks.
Like mentioned 1st Softail was 84 that resembled the Softail Custom, had 4 speed & chain drive with a kicker. Iirc Softail Custom came a year or so later & some late 80s Softail Customs came with color matched frames.
Yes, we all know that. I also can’t say Fatboy in the title it will get banned. So it’s a play on words. Because it’s the Harley Fatboy ever maid but we can’t say that
Damn guys, i was jist gettin into the video and.....to be continued...jeez, lol. I tell ya what, the best bike i ever owned was my 2013 fatboy lo. I havent had alot of harleys, but that one was bad ass...stock 103 just waiting to be mutilated. I miss that bike.
The Grey Ghost to me is the baddest harley ever made..in my opinion..ive got a 2015 FatBoy..and maybe one day ill have the privilege of owning a 1990 Grey Ghost...
Man some real words coming from a wise man who has seen and hard alot. Man respect for krusei going to end and back to make a good product. I have a older friend who is expert when it comes to custom. His brain doesn't stop turning...give him your car for a week he will just start tinkering and he will make it better. Make his own adapter plates for transmissions, master engine builder. Taught me everything I know.. make me look at situations as inconveniences instead of something I can't beat. Adapt and over come. Think twice. Ryan and Joe have that relationship. Minds just work the same way And enjoy each other company
Get on the gas and ride it to California!! What I just watched was magic, ol boy and young buck shooting sh1t amazing story can’t wait for more , I’ve just subscribed to you Ryan and love the content!! Patreon is next , god bless and have a good day..
My '84 Harley Evolution Softail, which I still have, was thundering under my butt for 7 years before your silly Fatboy ever left the factory. And the '87 Softail Custom had a frame and tins color match.
Great video guys! Question, if not HD oil, or Amsoil... What oil do you suggest for harleys? It seems like so much options out there and they are all prolly the same thing just re-packaged. Advice please! Thanks a million, and keep the rad vids up!!
Close but the fat boy is far from Harleys first softail. As a matter of fact they trademarked the term back in the early 80’s with the fxst, ST meaning softail.
Smokin Joe is looking Spry! Good for you, Joe. Stay hydrated.
To be continued…? I’m having flash backs of daytime television waiting a week for the next episode of the real ghostbusters. Damn you Kruesi.
It feels good though don’t it😁
@@kruesioriginals yeah it does. Can’t wait to see what you got for joe. Good dude.
Love videos with Joe. Yeah the bike is cool too. I remember that model on the floor of local Harley dealer in 1990
I could talk and listen to that man all day. Love him! I can’t believe how clean that bike is!! Over 30 years old!? WOW!! Beautiful bike!
It would be a lot more enjoyable if he wasn't wrong about so much of what he says,
This joe is a riot!!!
Love this fckn guy!!
Respect to the ole timers!! 👍

I think Kruesi originals need to make shirts that simply say "GOD BLESS JOE". IMHO
Well, Ryan I love your videos. You're my favorite bike builder. But this, this one was awesome. Love seeing Joe in your content. This one was awesome. Thanks.

The Grey Ghost to me is the baddest harley ever made..in my opinion..ive got a 2015 FatBoy..and maybe one day ill have the privilege of owning a 1990 Grey Ghost...
83 ! seems 43 !
Sorry, the FXST came out in 83. The FLSTF wasn't released until 90.

🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Close but the fat boy is far from Harleys first softail. As a matter of fact they trademarked the term back in the early 80’s with the fxst, ST meaning softail.
Painted frame no shit but the thing about fatboy they look good stock compared to a lot of bikes but anyway great story with the old boy .
87 softail custom came out with a color matched frame…just sayin
"Fatboy" is a combination of "Fat Man" and "Little Boy" which were the names give to the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan to end WWII
whats with the bleep!!
Incorrect it has nothing to do with bombs. The Motor Company would never do that. So many innocent people were killed. Look it up. Beautiful machine.
The f'n man Joe🤘🛵
They oem rims from the grey ghost, are they the mag wheels on our dyna's?
