I sew because i felt like I didn’t know who I was anymore. Sewing has helped me and continues to help me focus on me. It’s my me time, it’s my sewcial time, my learning time, my scary time, fun time, it’s the time where it’s just me.
The sewing community really keeps me going as well with inspiration and patience and it’s nice to meet friends and see what their sewing world is like.
I love sewing as much as it’s a pain in the butt sometimes it my pain in the butt. Lol 😂

YESSSSSSS Melissa, this is so beautifully said!! I really agree with you that it's kind of all-the-things - scary, PERSONAL, educational, fun, etc! And how awesome is it that we can make it even that more amazing by sharing what we do with each other on these social platforms. Especially because I think we ALL know the feeling of wanting to rant and talk about the details of a project you're working on, but there's nobody nearby to do that with (at least not for me)! But totally, now look at all the inspiration you find and all the friends that you continue to make on the socials. Ain't no friend like a sewing friend girrrrrrrrl 😝.
