I couldn't really stand Riley on his own. It was only funny when people would fuck with him on the phone or when he and Howard would bitch about his salary. And things of this nature I don't think I can handle a podcast of just Riley rambling on without anyone to bounce off of.

Riley, selling advertising against the company is the funniest thing ever. It’s like you’re being at work at your regular job and you take on the job as a telemarketer on their phone line or something. Just hilarious.
Or it's like you're working the call in line for a radio show and you're constantly taking stock tips from someone over the phone.

It is kinda funny that Howard talks about Riley not getting people to subscribe but years later when Sirius merged with XM Howard demanded he get a bonus because his Sirius contract stipulated that he was in line for a bonus once they got (IIRC) 20 million subs. But those weren't subs that he brought along, those were subs that Sirius got from a merger with XM who never carried Howard.
Riley has no idea what subs he brought to Sirius because there's no way of being able to accurately measure that. But neither did Howard when XM and Sirius merged.
Howard has been taking credit for Sirius’s subscriber count pretty much since day one even though Sirius has conducted themselves as though they are ashamed of him over the years. Halfway through his first contract Sirius was in bankruptcy court so if anything he bankrupted them
Howard invented mergers. Sirius and XM were ripping him off.

I listened to him speak very carefully, he didn't say the word honestly 1 time until Howard brought up the money. Then he says, "Honestly, people think he makes so much money but that's not true he makes about 2500 a week.” Why do you need a word qualifier like honestly if you are telling the truth?
