TB is a potentially serious infectious bacterial disease that mainly affects the lungs. The bacteria that cause TB are spread when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
Most people infected with the bacteria that cause tuberculosis don't have symptoms.
Treatment isn't always required for those without symptoms. Patients with active symptoms will require a long course of treatment involving multiple antibiotics.

Sir mere father ko lungs mein tuberculosis hai. Unki age 68 years hai. Yeh CECT Scan me detect hua tha. Unka treatment Dot centre se chal raha hai last 7 weeks se. Abhi khansi and bulgam toh nhi hai but right side upper back (shoulder) mein daily pain bata rahe hai, jo night me jyada hota hai jis wajah se neend nhi le paate hai night me.. morning/noon me pain kaafi kam rhta hai.
Kya yeh TB ki wajah se hoga ya koi aur bimari jaise CANCER ya kuch aur bhi ho sakta hai.. Maine apne pulmonary doctor se bhi consult kiya tha but woh bol rahe hai abhi wait karke dekho 1 month.
