The train's speed set to 88 miles per hour is a reference to Back to the Future 3, where Doc drives a train to push the DeLorean to reach enough speed to be able to take Marty back to 1985, as they were stuck in the 19th century and the DeLorean had run out off fuel.

there are SO many references to past horizon games on pulse and bass arena in Amy and Scots dialogue
About the car perks, you can use the Viper (forgot what year, but it was used for FH1 cover), and there's reference for it, it's "Drive it like it's 2012"
the Back to the Future reference may also refer to Back to the Future Part 3, as in the ending a train wrecks the DeLorean and Doc also turns one into a time machine
and also i think they did make use of a train to pull the delorean to 88mph as it ran out of fuel.
The wheelspin skill is called spinball wizzard, which is a reference to the song pinball wizzard from The Who.

A funny detail with the radio (at least for Bass Arena AFAIK) is how Scott Tyler says something about being hungry and wanting some food before playing a skill song and at the end of the song he you can hear him trying to talk with his mouth full while chowing down on wings, not an easter egg but thought it was pretty funny although I'm pretty sure this line is repeated every skill song
Maybe the alien signs is a nod to a future expansion

When the FH5 map was revealed I noticed a label that read "De otro mundo", which translates to "From another world" where the crop circles are located at.

The train one makes sense because in one of the movies the DeLorean is getting pushed by a train, and plus, the same train is in FH3, and since it is the same exact train from FH3 to 5, it makes sense.

Wow, when you said there was aliens in game it all just clicked. I saw two green lights in the Horizon 5 night sky! I had no idea what they were but I figured they were some sort of alien ship. Now I believe I have recorded footage of it. As for all extra terrestrial / UFO sightings, it will be blurry footage (no it's actually in 4k! haha).
I know the Koenigsegg Jesko has an easter egg Skill perk.

there's references to the fast and furious franchise, like one of the skill points, on one of the Wv golfs it has a skill named "10 second car", which is what Brian o' Conner owed Dominic In the first movie, the other reference is in the accolades, one of the accolades says "how do you like them apples?" which consists of the same cars from the audition race from 2 fast 2 furious, the name of the accolade itself is a nod to Brian's line when talking to Roman pierce and doing a gesture

At the festivals you can find dj booths (for example, the main festival has its dj booth at the hall of fame). They have a radio station advertised on them. I think the festivals should only play the station advertised on the dj booth
Idk if its on fh5, but in fh4, thw subaru sti thingy's (newest) front lights kinda go to high beam if you press the brakes (visually not really, it doesn't brighten the road, but more lights turn on)
