    I know from experience that my viewers like it when I come back with longer-term review updates. There is nothing quite like using a product for a year or two in the real world to see how it truly performs. More likes and dislikes can crop up, plus a test of the product's durability.
    So in this video, 15 updates to products I have reviewed in the past year or two. I call it a odds and ends update because I didn't find these products demanded a full dedicated update video, just a short clip.

    Hey Ray! Thanks or the updates! For the water hose end that's a bit too slick to grip. Maybe try a thin strip of tread grip tape. Maybe a light scuff with fine sand paper to give it some tooth and a wipe with acetone to clean.

    Hey Ray, interesting video. For the mirror, you do that to keep the mirror from bouncing around? With what was mentioned about with the suction cup, yeah, that's part of what I hate about suction cups. I've almost never have had good grief with them, they've almost always had them fall off after a short time. A instance of that is when I was learning to drive back in the school year of 2015 to 2016 in New York state (notice the state, not city), my grandfather's friend signed me up for driver's ed, he (the friend) drove out to my dad's house and had me drive back in to his house, I mounted my gps on the windshield, and not long after I started up the driveway, the suction cup fell off the window, it was a clean window. I figure it may have been the cold that did that because if I do remember, it was the dead of winter at the time where it got down below freezing at the time. I do think I've had suction cups fall of when the windshield is hot too such as during the summer.

    Than you for the updates, I truly appreciate them. I have found that many RV products have great advertising but fail pretty quickly. i. e. the hoses that feel like nylon type fabric and fold up very small. Almost everyone I know that has had one, has failed fairly quickly. Looks good on the drawing board; but fails in the field.

    So here’s something to checkout. I needed some extra ft of hose the other day and ran into a Zero-G Pro. Not the usual Zero-G. It’s 3/4 inch hose, 55% lighter, 10 year warranty, and lime green. The way it folds in on itself and collapses flat reminds me of the fire engine hoses but smaller. I also bought a air-chuck to water hose adapter, so I can blow out all the water before putting it away.. WOW!!! Talk about a Moby Dick.

    • @georgeramsey2827
      @georgeramsey2827 2 года назад +1

      Sk, thats a great idea about blowing out the hose, no more drips going into the storage bay.

    • @SK-qt1rm
      @SK-qt1rm 2 года назад

      @@georgeramsey2827 also, lighter weight. I have 125 ft of hose (75 + 50)

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  2 года назад

      I wonder if it would be trustworthy enough for using with a macerator pump. It's kind of a pain to carry 50 feet of 3/4 inch construction grade rubber hose.

    • @SK-qt1rm
      @SK-qt1rm 2 года назад +1

      @@LoveYourRV I don’t know. It could depend on the toughness of the inner rubber core. It might not be meant to chemically be resistant to additives in the black tank. It also might worth the research with companies that make chemically resistant hoses that collapse. I might need one as well as I’m considering getting a macerator in the fall.

    Great video. Thanks for putting it together. Quick question…what did you mean by “coat the circuit board” when describing what you did to protect the electronics in the Mopeka sensor?

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  2 года назад

      It's called a conformal coating. Protects electronics against moisture, corrosion, dirt, dust, thermal shock, short circuits, high-voltage arcing, and static discharge.
      Here is the video where I showed me coating the boards with some brush on type ruclips.net/video/dOfpLfw_8-8/видео.html Cheers, Ray

      We usually spend the summer at a RV park called Thunderbird thunderbirdrvpark.com/ It's not in the city of Vancouver though but rather Campbell River which is located on Vancouver Island so you have to take a ferry to get there. It can be quite costly. For our 45 foot rig its about $225 one way for the ferry trip. Cheers, Ray

    Do you know of a good inline regulator that could be put at the tank for the fire pit to attach to? We light to dial down the fire lower then the knob on the pit allows. I've been choking it off with the tank valve, but it's finicky. Thanks!

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  2 года назад

      Maybe you could find an old used BBQ cheap and salvage the gas control knob. I wonder if that may work plumbed in line.

      @@LoveYourRV That's good thinking! Always see them at the end of driveways for free when folks get a new one. I'll give that a try. I can get a welding regular or flow valve from my welding shop, but they are more spendy and was looking for a cheaper option first. I've have a look at new BBQ controllers too. They might be inexpensive enough. Thanks Ray!
