Very helpful video thank you. When I finally become an architect, I hope to accommodate people with disabilities as much as anyone else in my designs, so your experience is fun and immersive. :D
I'm a London wheelchair user and OMG THE TURNING CIRCLE ON BUSES. The new routemaster buses are a bit better but most of them either require me to struggle or have my boyfriend to help me
I have been to London a couple of times around 2010 and would like to visit that great city again. But since may this year I have to use a wheelchair to get around. Thank you very much for your video-
Thanks for showing this I want to be honest even though I don’t have a physical disability I do have a non visible disability with is autism and which effects me and my mother which my mother did cry when she found out that that I had autism
Please feel free to check accessibility info on our global platform: demo.citymaas.io/, our autism data is not yet live, but definitely in the pipeline.
southwest trains have been fantastic helping, staff ready to help at Clapham junction and Waterloo train station TfL underground trying to find someone to help was impossible when I did he had just finished his shift and said you need to find someone else
I know you are trying to be nice, but that just sounds really weird. Why would you LOVE [all] wheelchair users? It sounds a bit patronising. Some people in wheelchairs are a**holes, because they are PEOPLE and some people are a**holes (especially if they are having a bad day).

Well due to the age of the railway infrwi and being built by different companies etc not all platforms are at the same height so I don't think it's really possible sadly
It's complicated for some underground stops. Some platforms get both subsurface and deep level trains which have different floor heights so the platform height is a compromise for both. Harrington humps would probably work though.
You would think by now the authorities would have worked how wide the barrier should be, what the height of the buttons in the lift should be and how to fine taxi drivers for not taking a challanged customer.... But no, they have not worked it out. I wonder how many of the planners get around in wheelchairs???!!!!!
This is a very honest observation there, there is a will and there is a way...just need the will to be a bit stronger, more persistent accompany with an executable plan!
This was pretty good going on what some disabled people face. You should be a bit more grateful. I’ve been to London many times, but I’ve yet to see a wheelchair on the underground. One woman I spoke to briefly said she wouldn’t touch the underground with a barge pole in a wheelchair! Some bits are possible, but it’s just not worth the hassle.
Note there so far I have seen the wheelchair rider must stay in his chair. He does not get a seat, let us see. I'm not sure my arms will ever be strong enough r man in and out of where I need to go, regardless of hand holes nearby.

You can do it! We can't wait for everyone in the world to have that inclusive mind set as you! keep us posted
May I suggest something? Try a day in a wheelchair. Many problems you experience in a wheelchair your feel more and those can't be observerd so easy.

@@raneeraman2083 No problem at all, hope you have a nice time in London
i dont understand why there is no legislation that forces the companies to buy level boarding trains like the ones on GA
That would be ideal!

@@Fm_1055 but they are all about 915 mm or lower but the trains are build 1100mm
