As a flamenco dancer myself i think the hard part is learning to perform your upper body and feet at the same time. And that's only achievable when you stop thinking the steps and flow with the music. If you are able to stop thinking and feel the music, it always seems effortless!
Flamenco, originally, was the dance of "pena negra"-- or, dark suffering. Women weren't originally allowed to participate, but then convinced male counterparts that they too were subject to the "dark suffering." Then Flamenco became the duos we see now. And yes, I agree, it not only speaks to, but reveals the soul... of our dark suffering.
Flamenco dance form originated from Indian dance kathak bought by gypys or Roma people who were originally Indians to Spain. It's mixture of tradional Spain dance and Indian dance kathak
This is what I love about Flamenco. The dance creates the rhythm of the song and so there is no distinction between dancer and musician. Something about it feels like home, to me. 💜

So she’s not of Spanish heritage?!? She wasn’t born in Andalusia region, flamenco isn’t exactly a middle eastern dance so how did she learn it while living in the Mideast!?! Palestinian🙄figures they don’t even speak Spanish let alone live as the people of Spain do! They’re the Arabs speaking in Arabic and their music doesn’t even sound like this🙄cultural appropriation at its finest! Some things need to be kept pure and untouched by outsiders😡
