- Dear friends,
This video is about some of the changes I have encouraged since I live in The Netherlands. Everyone who moves to a different country knows there is so much uncertainty but in my experience the place you are right now is the right place for you, so I have learned to enjoy the process while adapting to this new country and culture.
I hope you enjoy this video and if you are in a transition of something, whether it is a new country, job, motherhood or anything else, please share with me what changes you're going through.
With Love,
Gina ❤️

Being visited by a cat not your own is a sign that your home has "the good vibes" and going by your movie I feel the cat was right. Glad you enjoy living here. Saw your previous video as well and noticed you become a regular Dutch Cycle mom. Much love from Utrecht.
Thank you so much for your message 🙏🏽❤️
That was a beautiful video. You’re a good storyteller and you have a delightful family! I wish you all the happiness in your new country!
🥹 Thank you sooo much, I try to improve little by little in every video I make, you just made my day, thank you so much again and I wish you the best to you ✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️
I thought I recognized "my" Aldi in your shopping video, but now I'm sure you live close by because of the park, so welcome to our neighborhood!
Thank you so much 🙏🏽❤️
I am happy for you that you like it here. I wish you all the best here. And i must say it was a beautiful melancholic video. Great job and welcome.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I am very happy here and finally I can say I feel like home 😃
Hey Gina. Just watched your video. Nice.
I'm a 60 years old Dutch man, born and raised in Den Haag. Meanwhile I work and live about 15 years just across the boarder in Germany. So I know about change. Seems to me that you are doing great, feeling at home. I do also, over here.
About the weather. I still don't like it, I still wear often the wrong clothes/shoes. You're not the only one 😅.
Wishing you and your family all the best.
Wish you guys the best in The Netherlands with your beautiful child❤ and you have made a lovely video
Thank you so much for your kind message 🙏🏽❤️
Loved your video. The secret of the right clothing in the netherlands is 'layers' so for example a top, 't shirt, and cardigan. Always make sure you can take one layer of or put on if nescessary 😅
Thank you so much for your advice 🙏🏽❤️
Wat een tedere video! Veel succes!
Dankjewel 😊✨
hola gina que bonito holanda feliz domingo
Gracias hermosa!! Bonito domingo también 🤗❤️
2:40 : WUT?! No pindakaas? 😆
The importance of life is life itself. So slow down to enjoy it.
Your video demonstrates it to perfection.
I am learning to embrace the slow life, but really The Netherlands have taught me so much 🥰❤️ also I discovered speculaas and is my new addiction I most say 🙈
@@ginavargasofficialtry a potje speculoos pasta . 😋
@@ronaldb8759OMG actually that’s what I wanted to say 🙈Speculoos pasta is the best creation ever!!!!!!!
@@ginavargasofficial I grew up with pindakaas en hagelslag, I will die with pindakaas, hagelslag en speculoos in my stomach 😇😂
Cute!
I’d prefer spoken words, iso having to read. Could just be me🤣
The name Holland originated from the first inhabitants who came from Scandinavia and and probably used some form of name which is Haalland and over centuries it changed to Holland.
“Holland” originates from the early germanic word “holt” land. That word developed into “hout” in Dutch or “holz” in German. So it actually means “woodland”, due to the woods that were found in the fertile and marshy plains which is now Holland.
Holland or the Netherlands, both are correct. No problem.
Thank you ❤️
No Holland is not correct, we don’t mind people saying so as if it meant the Netherlands however correct it’s not 😊. Our country is the Kingdom of the Netherlands. 🇳🇱 Having said that, I more than welcome you and your family here, hope for and wish y’all the best.
I wish you would stop calling our country Holland. Two out of our 12 provinces are Noord (North)- and Zuid (South)-Holland but our country is called The Netherlands.
When I am abroad I call my country Holland, no big deal
Ever heard abt a "pars pro toto"? Outside NL and especially in the US, our country is also known as Holland which is simply used as shorthand for the Netherlands. Stop whining.
@@ColumbastaWe don't care about what shorthand is. It is NOT the name of our county. Lazy foreigners.
I'm dutch, I don't care. The whole world has called our country Holland, for a long time now. I've only recently saw a trend of overzealous people on the Internet trying to correct people on the subject. Chill out.
@@ginavargasofficial Don't give in to these whiners plz. There is no province in the NL called "Holland", so that name is a synonym for the whole country of Netherlands, as it has been used for ages.
And the "America" thingy is a good example of exactly the same smart alecky bs. Everyone knows that America is a perfectly legit way to refer to the US. Same goes for Americans. On a wider scale we refer to N-America when the US/Canada is concerned. When we talk abt "Amerikanen" in Dutch, who do you think we refer to? Correctamondo: citizens of the US. Not Mexicans or anyone else not living in the US. Cheers!
je gaat niet met je kind gooien ,doe dat niet meer er hoeft maar iets mis te gaan ,en je vergeef het je hele leven niet meer !!!!
Thank you for your concern 🙏🏽
Guess someone has never had a dad, I'm sorry for you. 😢
