Yeah contests are good but the judging always felt like plot armor in contests, that ruined it. There was also not much feel of pokemon trying their hardest

but Delcatty is a really good pokemon for Contests in the games though because of the common natures that help us to make them eat pokéblocs or poffins!!

I prefer Dawn’s contest combinations, I think her moves were more flashy and eye-catching and prettier. I think the Sinnoh contests in general had flashier and more extravagant/ sophisticated battle moves than the Hoenn contests.

Kanto and Jhoto were the best series by far. The Pokemon designs had such simplicity, but they were so much better, and the character development was better then than now. Plus, the Orange Islands served as a smooth transition between them, and all in all they were just... Better. Hoenn too, but not as much.
