You could put conditioner inside the water as well it also helps the hose be more pliable especially when blowing it dry .

It can last up to 6 weeks. The prepping process changes the hair texture and makes it more durable and manageable....don't skip a step 🙂
How will you keep it from slipping out of your hair?

What temperature do you put the dryer and the iron on?
I swit h between low and high. My dryer don't play games so if I did only high that suckered will scorch my hand.
How long should the hair be in the boiling water? And should I tangle it before I dip it?
Just a few seconds. It straightens almost immediately after immersing. You can comb it out before

@xnicorn_ if it looks old by then you can do 4 Braids and dip them to recreate the curls
Do you have a video of an example of what a mermaid braid would look like if one tried braiding without this process? I'm curious to see the difference. 🫶🏿
