We did that track twice last year after a lot of rain. Great fun down the bottom in the ruts and mud and those views up top could not possibly ever get old.
You went on Bicentennial trail from Wolgan rd, up the hill, Baal Bone Trail runs parallel to Bicentennial , then when you go to the mud pits, its Moffitt Trail to Ben Bullen, Moffitt trail is CLOSED so it can dry out and prevent more damage to the trail.
Spot on. I was up the bicentennial trail the other day checking out the lookouts but as said the trail across to Ben Bullen is currently shut due to track damage and tourists constantly getting bogged and needing to be recovered lol
Likely one of the most under estimated areas for a long time now at Baal Bone Gap, also the mudpit on the other side of Wolgan rd (Blackfellas hand trail) also getting a workout on recovery's for sometime, was informed that one Ok last week.
Good to see you out there Josh& Mikayla. We do a fair bit of riding out that way on the big gsa 1200, but we avoid the mud.... Good to see you got out all safe and unbroken.....
Thanks mate I do have them there, they were that deep though the straps wouldn’t of helped too much haha in sand they work amazing! Thanks for watching mate and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Legends from The.Seekaz... it was great watching You guys just about all year, full inspiration to go out and explore this great country...
Hey guys, loving the eps, Merry Christmas. Spotted you guys east bound through Blackheath a couple weeks back. Set up on point 👌🏽 by god is that 62 a big rig 😍. Baal Bone track is a cracker I frequent there a fair bit. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for the new year 🤙🏽
Thanks mate, Merry Christmas! Oh no way haha thanks mate, sorry we missed you! Such a wicked area around there, can’t wait to get back next year! Thanks for watching mate and safe travels!
@@Travellingcampers from my recollection the track veers to the right of the big rock step on the assent. When we did it in reverse to you, I like you was expecting to come across the stepup, but never did. Walking back down we established where the track had deviated slightly to be a much easier gradient. Can't believe the workings have held up, looked like it would erode to be a challenge again when we did it. Those mud holes are hideous, gobbling up 200s when we did it. Tip, use straps that came with max traxs to tie to vehicle, as is comes free it also retrieves maxtrax, saves digging for them, well in sand anyway.
Bicentennial Trail. I know they graded up to the big hill that you talk about, and got rid of the big step. They did this a couple of years ago when the fire's went through. Lucky that you went around the mud hole's at the start of the trail, they swallow cars
Cheers mate! Yeah we got some info straight after we filmed this and it was after the fires in 2019 it all happened, crazy! Still such a good track to do though! Thanks for watching mate and Merry Christmas 🎄

Hi Josh. You should put some straps on your max-tracks, so can find them easier when you need to dig them out. Just a thought..

yup, They removed that steep hill a few years back. I believe it was for easier access in case of fire.
Yeah it was in 2019 after the fires! Would of been a lot of work to change it all! Thanks for watching mate and Merry Christmas 🎄

I thought that track was closed by National Parks months ago?
Nope! It’s all been done up and is open. Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas!
@@Travellingcampers excellent, I need to get out that way and check it out!
oh yeah . that's near me .. never been haha . maybe picked a bad line good recovery . 🏞️🛻🤙😎📹
pretty sure it got closed from too many people inexperienced and getting stuck and deteriorating track conditions back when it was flooding
Yeah it was from the bush fires mate to get easier access. Definitely get out there for a look! Merry Christmas mate!
