I think that might be correct, adds another layer to the achievement cause most people have probably already courted rival pack wolves already before the saga. Makes more sense for there to be some kind of saga related point to it.
Anyone else find it funny that the sibling rivalry achievement doesn’t show them full on fighting, but instead just shoving each other away and growling? Like, they nailed the sibling vibe there

Hey, I'm struggling to get some of these achievements and was wondering if you could answer something, for me? ;3; For Failure to Launch, did the pup come to you, or did you track them down and after finding them on the map they rejoined? (This and the newest achievement will be my bane because it has to do with wandering AI and I honestly have no idea if I should be tracking them down or looking for a scent or what, lol... Congrats on getting them, yourself. The pain is over. x'D )
The pup comes to you! You can find your dispersed pups in the map, but can't convince them to join your pack. However, they're more likely to rejoin if you have less wolves; so if you want to try and force it, you can kill some of your packmates and avoid having pups (kill your mate + some subordinates. Bison are the best for this). It's, much like Reports of My Death, very RNG :')

Dynasty caused me to massacre so many wolves, I disbanded like 7-9 packs and killed at least 15+ alphas over the span of almost two wolves lives (My OG and her saga daughter.) - on accurate because I'm insane like that- JUST to try and get my pups to finally take over every pack. They kept making a new pack instead of taking over one, but finally after twelve game years I have five packs on the map and my other four rivals are all my pups. *Rolls up sleeves.* It's all for the achievements, my fangs are ready, the hunt is on- even if it might be my own wolves like Widowmaker. Thank you so much for the response and some tips. I'll prepare the graveyard (And save files.). x'D

@@AveryCF The devs said the game "tries to keep your pack at 9 adult wolves" so theoretically anything under that should do it! I had quite a few when Cyan (the pup) returned, so again it all kinda depends on what the RNG vibes decide, but having a small pack + skipping having pups can prooobably help. I did do that in another litter and got 2 of my dispersed pups to return over the course of a no-mate + no-pup year, so there's that!
@@thorn056 I have good news since I had asked this, last night I was sleeping in an area one of my dispersed sons kept wandering/being found in. It was Young Hunters with twelve wolves (So I guess I got really lucky, once in a lifetime thing for me, lol.) and I was just sleep spamming until I was hungry, expecting to pass away soon at eight years old and somehow lasting until deep winter. He showed up one of the times I woke up and rejoined. A Christmas miracle! x'D I just have the newest hidden achievement left to snag and getting a pup to disperse at five. x.x (I've had two who NEVER left. Made it to five and still wouldn't go.) I can't thank you enough for all your help so I'm really sorry if my replies seem spammy or long. Thanks for being so patient.

I've bene trying o get the Variety PAck achievement(my wolf is currently seven years old and I've been raising to the three pups since age 3). Do you have to have more than one pup, or does the number of pups per litter not matter?
It's not a Saga achievement, but any advice on finding the electronic predator/prey caller?? Does it have a scent marker or anything?? I've been running around the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness getting shot for almost a week 😭

Whenever I go into scent mode I struggle to follow the floating kinds of scents because I don’t know if I follow where it’s going or if I go to where it’s coming from, im not good with downwind and upwind, can some one help me?^^ I’m good with the footprints but I really can’t understand the orb ones, I suck😭
The spores are coming FROM the source! You need to go against them, pretty much. If you just follow a particle you won't get anywhere. This is really useful for beavers! Beavers can smell you. Make sure the orbs are coming towards you when you approach beavers- that means the wind is covering your scent!

Sorry! I need more specific information on completing the "Bloodlines" achievement so I don't mess up and can be absolutely sure. After the death of my elder wolf, will I immediately have a choice to choose a successor who will continue the life of the pack? Or will I die and I will not have such an opportunity?
I also have a question about the «Sibling Rivalry» achievement. Does my brother have to be from the same litter as me, or do I for example play as a wolf from my parents' third litter against a wolf that was bred from my parents' first litter?
@@afdaterrk420 Hi! So, for bloodlines: Yes! Once your elder wolf dies (I waited for Benefit's mom to get the death omen dream, to be sure, then had a peaceful death) you'll be given the option to play as any of your packmates. I picked Benefit cause he was already 5 years old. As long as it's one of your pups (don't pick your mate!) it will count; all you need to do is age that pup to 8 years old. As you can see there, all I really did was stay at a carcass and spam sleep (no packmates; I killed them all lol) so it was faster. It's important that you continue the same save!!! Since you need to continue the same pack. However, it doesn't matter how many wolves are in the pack (hence me killing everyone to make things faster). For Sibling Rivalry: Doesn't matter which litter! As long as you're playing against a sibling, it should trigger!
I didn't get the Romeo & Juliet achievement. I got a pop up of one of my two year old wolves diapering I played him and I got a mate from a rival pack in Hellroaring Mountain (Cottonwood Creek) and I didn't get the Romeo & Juliet Achievement. Or did I do something wrong? Also, my main pack and dispersal are in the same map.
Probably kill one of the pack leaders in every rival pack. Gender of the leader you're killing depends on the genders of your pups who have dispersed. Chances are still low but are def increased

hii i have a hidden achievement in the saga that you don’t have available and i’m a bit confused. it’s in between bad blood and dynasty and it has a wolf’s eye showing
for the dynasty achievement, do you need to be playing as the parent of the pups that become pack leaders? or can you play as one of your offspring and still get the achievement?
Yes! As you can kinda see it in my video, I was next to bison. I used the bison to *injure* my mate (you can see pack info for a second, mate is at 1% health) so the wolves would finish him off. When you get a wolf attack, you can kind of run them anywhere. Just keep them close (if you run too far, you 'flee' the attack and they go away) and try to find some bison to help lower one of your pack mates, then just let the wolves attack! :)
@@cakeangel5999 The achievement requires an adult packmate to be killed; doesn't need to be mate! Can be a subordinate or a sibling, I'm pretty sure. Mates are easier since you can toggle mate permadeath off, get them bisoned to a silver of health, then turn permadeath back on for the wolf fight. As for how to get them hit, just stalk (ctrl) near the bison, they'll stay mostly still while the bison hits them.
If you're talking about Me, Myself, and I then you have to spend a year alone by killing your mate before the pups (if you can) and then waiting out timers

1st step: Find both pack leaders from a rival pack. 2: Depending on what gender you are, kill the pack leader that is the same gender as you. 3: Exit their territory and sleep for a few days before returning and sleeping in their territory. 4: Court the leader. This does take a couple tries, but it's pretty easy once you know what to do :)

Well, it's only on the game because you can not really do anything about if your all pups gonna be Rivals 😅 (not trying to be rude)

For power parent its not weight its the time and i found that its around 3 in-game days after the ungulate pop-up!!

Just need to have 4 mates before your wolf turns 7! I did it with a 2yo wolf, just courting and killing 4 poor victims back to back :P

Over 5-6k if you include all the hours I must have on itch.io 😅 around 3k on Steam alone. As for these achievements, I think about 40hrs?
