I just had an epiphany listening to your video, I have been thinking for months how the hell can I find a deal. I know brokers are a sham and if you don’t have a name it may be hard but mailing a letter directly to the business is gold. Thank you so much.
Absolutely....business brokers are con artists and they always over value businesses they try to sale. Steer clear of them, use them to get financials then toss them!
Love this content Jonathan thank you for it. I can't afford to buy the course so I'm going to just find out as much information as I possibly can from the internet and go it alone
Great information, gives a whole new perspective on having a business(s) Also this is a whole new career introduced to me. When will the next webinar be? When will the next FastTrack Programme be? Can you still mentor someone from a different continent and country?
@Ahmed Abouelsaoud: Have you enrolled and attended Jonathan Jay's - One-Day Super-FastTrack Business Acquisition Programme? Can you give me your genuine review of the course? Thanks
Hi Jonathan, thank you for this. What is the best way to accumulate data around the correct businesses? Is it best to initially focus on one sector? Regardless, what have you found to be the best way to identify the correct businesses? Thank you
Thanks for the amazing video Jay! I'm based in Thailand, would what you teach work for me here as well? I lost a lot of money on my first business and want to get better at this.
apart from cost savigs, how about offshoring functions like accounting? will expand EBITDA. during the deal execution, financial and legal due diligence can also be offshored saving transaction cost, thanks to zoom and one drive
When I went online I noticed that the price is now £299. Does this include the tool kit, the 30 recordings, and all the extra’s like templates, letter, etc?

I'm determined, confident, already proven to succeed off my own personal strengths and drive and I have everything it takes to make this happen effectively, but I need the right team and guidance on my side. Please help me.
Hi. So as the new owner, is there anything you need to do for the acquired business? You wouldn't be running it but surely you don't just sit back and relax once it's all done?
Its an 'all depends' answer - if you have bought a business that's going to fund your lifestyle, you would want to be involved in some way - although this is very different to buying yourself a job!
So i'm intrigued by the fact that an individual can buy a business by simply being creative I live in 🇧🇸 Could this be done in another country where I buy business in different places?
I wouldn't ever say that this is a lifeline for people who are completely broke. You can buy a business without risking your own cash but if you need instant results, this requires time and effort.
ask him or her about why she or he selling let them talk you and convince you with their story you can casually mention about creative ways of financing the deal at the end of second meeting not the first meeting mention you have already talked to with other seller and have your note book ready for him to see their name and future appointments with phone numbers keep cool its like a job interview basically the more you attend the better you get at eventually buying the business how you mr seller come up with this price ? do the employees or suppliers or banker know your intention of selling? do the business have job procedures or manuals for new employees to learn? procedures for top management? how old is the machinery if its a industrial business? do they still have manual for those machines do they need repairs and other industry specific questions is he the only major sole owner or are there several of them? you can come up with other smart questions yourself be patient you might have to talk or send tens or hundreds of letters and participate in a couple of meetings with prequalified sellers but its worth than just starting from scratch a startup no clients no reputation no money no employees no banks offering you credit no stock of goods nothing basically I am in this process myself doing it
Hi, i just watched this video now well past this webinar. would istill be able to get the perks (toolkit, videos, sourcing letter, etc.) if I sign up for this coming december event? I am working those days so i probably won't be able to attend the live event, so most likely would watch videos only.

@ahmad elseesi: Have you enrolled and attended Jonathan Jay's - ''One-Day Super-FastTrack Business Acquisition Programme''? Can you give me your genuine review of the course? Thanks
i watched a couple of his other videos im a complete beginner and idiot but i think he mentioned something about buying into the mortgage or property of the buisness or something while discussing a deal
Mortgages are for property, not businesses. If you watch more of the videos on this channel you will see that there are lots of ways to finance a business acquisition
Interesting question - most owners hold for too long expecting their business to go up in value - and often it doesn't!. I think you should take the classic 3-5 years view
it's still the best than just wasting time and money starting from scratch which is more risky than just having the patience to talk with motivated sellers even if you might need to send 50-100 letterbefore your offer gets accepted after some face to face meetings
@Steve: Have you enrolled and attended Jonathan Jay's - ''One-Day Super-FastTrack Business Acquisition Programme''? Can you give me your genuine review of the course? Thanks
Great info but the financing side is a bit lacking. Buy a business with no money, but also no ideas on funding it? You always need a big downpayment if your borrowing against a business to buy it, so how do you raise the 750K to buy the business that will pay for itself?
This is a promotional webinar, not a training webinar - so you're not going to get the full information on funding here. You don't need down payments using asset finance/invoice discounting, etc
@@theDealmakers Understood, thanks. Can you do me asset finance against the business I want to buy on the course value?!! Joking of course. WIll check your course out.

How would you say to a seller that you'll pay them over a long period of time from the profits of the business? Do you simply just say, "I will pay you over a long period of time ( 2-3 years) with the profits from the business ? won't they say hell no?

@@theDealmakers I've been watching your videos and I am enjoying them. I'm wanting to get the ball rolling on my first business acquisition. Leaning towards using the assets of the business to do so, just not sure how to go about it
I just learned about the term "acquisitions" last week. I did follow this. I don't have the $799.00 + VAT / Shipping to learn how to do this. Do you have anything for a poor physically disabled person like me to afford to do this? Since the whole point to this (for me anyways) is to get off of disability and become independently wealthy and have cash flow from businesses from other countries for no or low taxes. Would you be willing to buy businesses for me for a percentage of the profits? Can we work anything out affordable to the poor broke man (me)?
Something is wrong with a £1 business and a business that sells with no kind of guarantees …. that’s obvious. I don’t think this approach can be targeted at beginners with no running capital, no team and no due diligence experience like you … happy to be proven wrong. One wrong move and you might be selling your company for 1p. Happy to be proven wrong.
thanks for your comment. Where would you say the risk is? However, you will hear that i did NOT say this was the first deal you would do and i made it very clear about what I had in place to make this happen. I used it as an example of what you COULD do when you know how

Interesting
A business cannot fail if the building is big enough and all over the world. Size means stability.
And can i buy businesses as a sole proprietor?
Please don't do that - it's completely the wrong thing to do

keep cool its like a job interview basically the more you attend the better you get at eventually buying the business
how you mr seller come up with this price ? do the employees or suppliers or banker know your intention of selling?
do the business have job procedures or manuals for new employees to learn?
procedures for top management?
how old is the machinery if its a industrial business?
do they still have manual for those machines do they need repairs and other industry specific questions
is he the only major sole owner or are there several of them?
