About your comment on the fact that they are old but that makes it special, from someone who grew up a certain way, I would venture to say that if they would have not been through it (probably decades ago), that they would not have bars quite like they do. If you have been in any scene or done something like that, then there are certain terms which probably wouldn’t be said otherwise. Some doubles that probably fly over most our heads to. I think it’s why they don’t sound generic tbh. It really does sound like the subtlety of the experience mixed with being given some of the new terms to integrate into their bars with the backup of Bas’ music training for their delivery.
