Great idea on adding 2 additional pumps. I would rather put my finger over the vent hole while I add the extra couple of pumps, and then quickly install the vent plug. That way the lube isn't under a slight pressure and would hopefully not gush out quite as quickly when the pump hose is removed.
Did you loose the tube that goes into the pump so you can pump the whole quart? Just figured id bring it up to save time not having to only pump a half of quart at a time.
Question, you put 4 quarts in your drive. When i look up capacity for Alpha one/Gen2 it states 2 quarts? Is that the difference in wet vs dry build or am I missing something else?
Good morning Jeff, glad to hear from you again. Our outdrive was 100% empty/dry due to rebuild. Took 4 quarts to fill ours, which is capacity when referring to our owners manual.

Good morning ☕️

I just need too top mine up, I've noticed that my monitor says add, can I just pour into the reservoir or do I add from the bottom,?
An Alpha 1 drive should only take 1 to 1.5 qts total. If you have a reservoir more will be needed. Thanks again Michael.

Thanks for watching, our kit didn’t come with it unfortunately.
