- If you're a tried and true 1911 guy (or gal), it's almost a given that you have a drawer full of 1911 grip panels. We understand that grips are the "cherry on top" with a lot of 1911 projects and directly impact how comfortable the gun is in your hand. With that, join us for another .45 Friday, where we will be taking a look at the different grip options available on ACW's from the shop!
When someone asks about “Stocks” I know the convo is going to be rough
I wet sand all of my aggressive G10 grips, front and back with 2000 grit. Leaves the texture aggressive but keeps it from ripping your clothes or scratching your finish 👍🏻 give it a try
I love that ACW keeps it simple with the "standard" grips (stocks.. duh) and keeps the price down. Most of "us" 1911 pistoleros are going to change the grips to our favorites, and do not need ACW to get overly complicated (pricey) with too many options! I literally just ordered a Prime Compact with full DLC treatment, just moments ago... love ACW and my next few years will be spent ordering one ACW after another, ha!
I love the checkered walnut, old school beauty, but then again, I'm a baby boomer who appreciates simplistic quality/beauty.
I believe Colt calls it “qualified screws” when they line up.
Will putting flat bottom grips over my colt that has the pin hole cut out grips work? Or will it not lay flat?
Do you sell the standard walnut checkered grips by themselves….love them
Can I order any of these grip options for my vintage classic cabot which I currently own? My cabot is also a south paw model..
Do you offer an slim grip options for folks with small hands?
Nice handles😂
24 or 42, you sure don't look like no 24 yr old that I know.
Checkered wood on bead blast blue is 🤌
