OMG how did we get here already but I’m really excited! BTS, Seventeen and Mamamoo are my faves. But Hwasa is literally my ultimate female artist. She speaks to my soul the way no one else does. And she is so beautiful inside out. When she was starting out, she was told that she sings well but she’s fat and not pretty. Typically in kpop, fans become fans of the industry. Meaning they would stan anyone that’s under the genre kpop (and hate those that dont fit the typical kpop standard like bts and hwasa). With bts, most armys like bts cause they are bts. Not because they are korean. So this guy doesnt like that armys are not giving other groups a chance (it’s not that we dont sometimes they just suck and also it’s kinda hard to support an industry that are so determined in putting bts down since the beginning) Their explanation videos are still good but them as people, sometimes not so much. Also theyve admitted to being paid or at least have connections to yg (blackpink’s label) and yg is famous for their mediaplay which makes it understandable why he’d want other groups to shine if he’s being paid for it. Honestly I think DKDKTV channel is fine if you are watching the explained videos. They have controversial opinions and in fandom that isn’t welcome. However, it’s their opinion. The explained videos are well researched filmed and helpful for non Korean fans. As Korean’s working in the industry they are knowledgeable and providing a service. In a way they do more for the fandom than most RUclipsrs as they provide a cultural context in an entertaining way. I think you’ll get more out of songs by watching their explained series. so, feel free, if you enjoy it

LMM is my favourite Hwasa song and video. My interpretation of the MV is the arrows are all the negativity hurled at her, and she was trying to avoid and get away from them throughout the vid, and succeeded in not getting hit until that one arrow that she shot herself. I took that to mean that it was only when she directed negativity towards herself that she got hurt, and once she realised that, it gave her the strength to face the arrows instead of trying to dodge them.
I agree with other commenters about DKDKTV. They say their own opinions sometimes without filters and that upsets some people. I don’t always agree with them but can respect that they have a different opinion. This has gotten them “cancelled” several times, but nothing they have said has really deeply bothered or offended me.

dkdktv is NOT weird some fans have beef with them due to their behaviors OUTSIDE their videos in their podcast and social media pages but their explained videos are top tier you dont need to worry about any weirdness please listen to what they say when explaining songs especially bts's songs cause they will help you understand even when you may be confused from doolset cause seeing examples and hearing it out loud is sometimes more effective than reading it.

@@DanielleMDM93 i think bookish theories is great but theyre not korean so sometimes they miss the mark when giving cultural context but maybe loui can react to both if he has time instead of choosing one or the other maybe he can react to both explained videos for each song that needs it but again its up to him. doolset is the best resource but some things need further explanations and i personally didnt understand things until after i watched both dkdktv and bookish. plus theres also muish ramblings and for spring day the italian army explained etc i also think its important for reactors to not only come up with their own interpretations but listen to multiple interpretations as well. like the translators on twitter say to read multiple dont stick to one so we can grasp the best understanding so even sticking to only doolset isnt always the best for certain songs depending on how they word things can make it more confusing.

Honestly I think DKDKTV channel is fine if you are watching the explained videos. They have controversial opinions and in fandom that isn’t welcome. However, it’s their opinion. The explained videos are well researched filmed and helpful for non Korean fans. As Korean’s working in the industry they are knowledgeable and providing a service. In a way they do more for the fandom than most RUclipsrs as they provide a cultural context in an entertaining way. I think you’ll get more out of songs by watching their explained series. so, feel free, if you enjoy it

LMM is my favourite Hwasa song and video. My interpretation of the MV is the arrows are all the negativity hurled at her, and she was trying to avoid and get away from them throughout the vid, and succeeded in not getting hit until that one arrow that she shot herself. I took that to mean that it was only when she directed negativity towards herself that she got hurt, and once she realised that, it gave her the strength to face the arrows instead of trying to dodge them.
I agree with other commenters about DKDKTV. They say their own opinions sometimes without filters and that upsets some people. I don’t always agree with them but can respect that they have a different opinion. This has gotten them “cancelled” several times, but nothing they have said has really deeply bothered or offended me.

Everyone in mamamoo can sing, they are 4 vocal, 4 performer, 4 rapper, 4 dancer, 4 songwriter, 4 comedian. It is a group that are had to have a bias. They are too good for this world
dkdktv is NOT weird some fans have beef with them due to their behaviors OUTSIDE their videos in their podcast and social media pages but their explained videos are top tier you dont need to worry about any weirdness please listen to what they say when explaining songs especially bts's songs cause they will help you understand even when you may be confused from doolset cause seeing examples and hearing it out loud is sometimes more effective than reading it.
I don’t have beef with DKDKTV, but I do prefer Bookish Theories’ explanations more. I just feel like the guys from DKDKTV don’t always put BTS’s own words on the music into their explanation, but that’s just my personal opinion
The analyses are good, but Danny has been disrespectful in their videos plenty of times. So easy to speak shit about BTS and ARMY after they got clout from doing this exact explanation videos.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but once you are publicly disrespectful toward someone's hard work and achievements, you shouldn't get pissy about army going against said disrespectful opinions. Many times he's been unprofessional while relaying things related to BTS, David is more respectful tho, but still that's why I stopped consuming their content. But each to their own.
@@Me_Pandora im talking about the bts explained videos specifically not their other content. besides david trying to use ugh to apply it to them and danny's intro persona explained and the tiny bit about hyunta in daechwita. nothing else in their explained videos are bad for bts ive watched them all and theyre good explained videos that help those of us who dont grasp everything from reading especially the photos and videos examples within their explanations. i get why armys dont like them i dont either but reactors should still use them as a good resource especially for songs like ugh, baepsae, eight etc i dont want loui to not trust what they say because then he might not take the explanation seriously as he did in this video he was looking for him to say something weird instead of focusing on what david was saying the meaning was.
@@DanielleMDM93 i think bookish theories is great but theyre not korean so sometimes they miss the mark when giving cultural context but maybe loui can react to both if he has time instead of choosing one or the other maybe he can react to both explained videos for each song that needs it but again its up to him. doolset is the best resource but some things need further explanations and i personally didnt understand things until after i watched both dkdktv and bookish. plus theres also muish ramblings and for spring day the italian army explained etc i also think its important for reactors to not only come up with their own interpretations but listen to multiple interpretations as well. like the translators on twitter say to read multiple dont stick to one so we can grasp the best understanding so even sticking to only doolset isnt always the best for certain songs depending on how they word things can make it more confusing.
