Mamamoo might not be as popular as some other girls groups but to me, they are the ones with the strongest vocal and rap skills. Their live performances are always incredible, they are so charming and charismatic. I do not follow their career that closely but as far as I know both their group and individual music have significant messages and good lyrics. For real, they are above many other artists in industry. (oh, it feels like their dynamic withing group is healthy and friendly as well)

I’ve seen many fans who love them both as they are super talented, came from humble beginnings in small companies, they had to work crazy hard to earn their respect as artists, didn’t rely on only their looks but mostly on their music, performances and personalities. And they respect each other as well and Jin and Moonbyul are same age friends who are in a friend group together. I still wish and pray for a collab from BTS and MAMAMOO in any capacity. MAMAMOO may not be the most popular but they are definitely the most talented and captivating. Their live performances is unmatched. No one touches them when they perform for year end award shows. They are just so different from every other female kpop group and it’s a good thing. Please also check them out as individuals with a guide because they are each so different and unique but come together to make the most beautifully music. Can’t wait for more!
Yes, nothing generic about Mamamoo. They don't follow anybody or any trends. From the first album to the most recent, you know they always do their stuff anyway they want it.

ooh mamamoo !! im a casual listener but i liked all the songs i have heard from them. what i also like of them is that i heard they write their own songs (?), seem like they do genuinely love singing and performing, and that they have showed respect to bts as artists. apparently moonbyul is friends with seokjin. all in all, god i can totally see they know how to SING.

I prefer men and women groups with mature sounds. I love that they write their own music and have a message they put out. Women power!
