Lots of good topics here. I think Gene/ Angelcorpse may be the king of starting new bands that sound the same and explain to the Dawg how much each one is different lol Des 666 is awesome, it's interesting to see there effect on Aussie metal and they are very much at the of the Life tree and many limbs come off of that band, and the Lore behind those bands gets way off into the weeds if nothing else.. very deep rabbit hole that is interesting. @sinisterking6009 my friend was SO psyched on that record that I had to go buy it and hear for myself. That was when I figured out why I had fallen off with Cold Steel. It's not even on the band, I'm just all about that lo-fi shit. I like that it doesn't just all sit right up front and if you're not dedicated, you won't even get it. I trace it to Divine Intervention as that album made a disproportionate impact on me. Song 2 is one a few tracks I can't even with even today.
HHR should put out Forensic on vinyl after Sickening Erotic. I told Joe dont be suprised if a mortal decay tribute band shows up on the jersey death metal scene if they arent up to playing live anymore.

Rogga Johansson is one of my favorite musicians, most of his bands kickass. PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER, NECROGOD, JOHANSSON & SPECKMANN, EYE OF PURGATORY, LEPER COLONY, DOWN AMONG DEAD MEN, MEGASCAVENGER, REEK, BONE GNAWER(with Kam Lee) and now Massacre with Kam as well.
