They don't want peace. They want our land. They want war.
They will have to surrender first and pay us reparations for October 7.
Palestine started this conflict when rejecting Camp David 2. Or you could say, the middle eastern countries were starting this war when preparing before the 6 Day War. But it doesn't matter. Palestine should surrender, free the hostages, accept Israel as state and eventually get their own state. They should ally with Israel and become a proper, democratic country. And as long as they reject this, Israel has to fight them sadly. Obviously, a truce is not an option, as the Palestinians have shown on October 7th. You can't revard them for their brutality by giving them a state, but maybe in a decade or two... if they behave themselves.

Israel could get their hostages back if they ceasefire and return the thousands Palestinian hostages they took from the West Bank and Gaza before Oct. 7th. Israel just turned down a peace agreement they initially agreed to that was proposed by The US, Qatar, and Egypt then accepted by HAMAS.

Midnight May 14 1948 Israel declared "ITSELF" to be a state, 12 minutes later the USA recognised the state of Israel. It was not until the 11th may 1949 that the United nations recognised the state of Israel. Why? Because the usa had their veto to prevent any dissent by the world. And it took 11 months of bullying by the usa to bring the vote to a conclusion that suited the usa and Israel.
Good piece of history indeed it got through the UN by the US arm twisting a smaller country to vote in favor of the State of Israel over the Thanksgiving break
Had the UN leadership and the world Leadership been "on their toes" the resolution would have included the State of Palestine.
But that is now water under the dam & 75 years later the Apartheid State of Israel needs to be stopped of their continuing defiance of International Laws particularly disregarding Human rights, illegal Colonization and Genocide. This Apartheid State of Israel needs to be disbanded as it exists today and the Citizens of Israel need to come together to reform their State.
And now the World Leadership needs to correct their horrendous error of 1949 and recognize the Sovereignty of the State of Palestine and restore there lands at least back to 1967 if not back to 1948.
This US has alot of amends to make to the World for their bullish acts in protecting and arming the Israeli Mission of Annihilation, Colonialism and Genocide of the Palestinian People and preventing the establishment of the State of Palestine in conjunction with the State of Israel.
On May 14, 1948, Israel declared itself a state after the UN voted for partition. Israel agreed to live side by side with a free Palestinian State but the Arabs said no and attempted the genocide of the Jewish people the next morning. The Palestinian Arabs would have had their free state back then if they didn't want to kill off all the Jews. Today, they are still calling for the genocide of the Jewish people and the takeover of the whole land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. How can Israel support a two-state solution when the Palestinians don't? Ianturpin, I suggest you do some research so that you will know the truth.
Any of the UNSC members could have vetoed the resolution.

Palestine started this conflict when rejecting Camp David 2. Or you could say, the middle eastern countries were starting this war when preparing before the 6 Day War. But it doesn't matter. Palestine should surrender, free the hostages, accept Israel as state and eventually get their own state. They should ally with Israel and become a proper, democratic country. And as long as they reject this, Israel has to fight them sadly. Obviously, a truce is not an option, as the Palestinians have shown on October 7th. You can't revard them for their brutality by giving them a state, but maybe in a decade or two... if they behave themselves.
