It seems like the LockMe Ever Mini has some quality issues. I purchased one in Black at an LV store a few weeks ago. Checked the bag carefully before purchasing, and everything looked fine. I decided to use it a few days ago for the first time and noticed several noticeable white marks on the bag had appeared. Looked like glue since I could pick it off after rubbing and lightly scratching at it. Brought it back to the store, and the SA told me that the other LockMe Minis they have in stock also have the same issues as mine. He also said there's been a lot of complaints from customers regarding the quality of LV's bags. Fortunately he allowed me to swap my bag for a different one, and I ended up getting the Oxford LockMe instead. Never experienced this with any of my bags before, so it was very surprising and disappointing.
I tried on the Lockme Ever Mini in store this past weekend and loved the look but was a bit worried about the soft and somewhat unstructured leather. I wasn't sure how durable it would be long term.

Great review video. Lockme is also one of my wishlist. Lockme and Chanel Buiness Affinity has quite similar vibes. I still prefer Chanel Business Affinity. I like your 2 Chanel Business Affinity pink and black.

Thank you so much for posting this review! I have watched it dozens of times while anxiously waiting for the bag to arrive and while mulling over the decision. I ultimately returned It because the structure of the bag doesn't support the locking mechanism well enough for me (the squishiness you mentioned), the lock logo is too big and you are totally right about how easily it will scratch. The handle also is great for the crook of the arm and in hand, but not my favorite for crossbody as it's too large to me.

I looove the look but the color I really wanted which I can’t find is the all pink version. I did look at the cream and pink colorway at the boutique here in the US bit wasn’t sold yet. Plus I like to cross body and the SA had to get me a chain to add a few inches. What are your thoughts on the leather? So you find it to be very delicate? I’m worried about if it ever gets a bit drizzled on as I live in Florida. It felt maybe a bit drier/chalky compared to the caviar leather on a Chanel bag. Thanks for the video!

How is the wear and tear in this leather? I heard that the Lock Me line had bad wear and tear. After a few months, is the condition of your bag still okay? Also, when you get something on your bag, do you use a baby wipe or leather cleaner? I want a recommendation. I use black caviar leather Chanel bags. Compared to those, is the leather weak.
Mine is great so far but the finish is different to caviar leather it is a softer leather, more flexible. Mine is perfect but I take good care of my bags and don’t use them excessively, I can imagine the bottom corners would maybe wear first on this bag
Don’t have the college or Metis to compare to. I did actually mention the Metis and why I prefer the lock me. The trendy CC is quite a different bag I would say. Most people asked for the capucines comparison 🙌
Oww yes good question. The business affinity feels a lot more ‘sturdy’ is that makes sense, like harder wearing. I love this for the size and flexibility though but it won’t hold up as well as caviar leather
Good question. That’s a hard one. I like both. Maybe the lock me as you see a lot less of them and being LV, holds its value better. But I think if care is take with the LouLou it might look better for longer I’m not sure how the lock me will hold up over time yet
I have both (lock me and loulou)and I so far love using the lock me, I rarely reach out to the loulou bc it doesn’t have the top handle and also bc I do own a few bags with darker colors. I don’t do well work lighter color but I couldn’t say no to the small loulou off white color at the time so I bought it (covid happens 😂).
Do you know if the lockme ever mini will ever come in more colorways? I saw in europe the BB size came in a khaki. I was hoping the mini would come in that colorway as well in the US at some point.
