I'm really glad that someone finally openly talked about fast charging these days brands are giving you this super fast charging option but taking away the battery health of your phone which in turn is causing you to lose your phone's battery health even earlier than it can expire. Practically speaking I use a 33w charging phone and a 65w charging phone although after having a huge gap between their speeds the lesser one doesn't feel slow at all but the ideal would be 40-44w, just my opinion
Nothing happens to battery life my one plus 11 1.5 year old has battery health of 91% it’s the same with slow charging iPhone and other Samsung phones and gives around 7-8 hour of sot . It’s just a myth and even changing battery costs around 2000
Moto edge 50 user here 🙋 got my phone on 11th April. So far experience has been good. UI is very lightweight and responsive. This phone feels more fluid than my previous phone Iqoo 3 which had SD865. My only issue is the curved screen, not a fan at all. This will be my first and last curved screen phone 😅.

I have an opinion on Motorola's whole company, I think they always focuses more on advertising new phones rather than looking for some old phones their updates are slow and they just promote a lot on youtube via ads and that annoys a lot of people and that could be the reason I kinda donn't like them as a company
Coming from a moto user, ur absolutely right, moto phone updates r slow, i use a moto g52 faced many issues including green line on display and they replaced it for free even though my phone was out of warranty but then the reason for the green line is bcoz of the software updates
Recently got android 14 update on my moto g73. Usually, with a new OS update, the performance slows down, but I think motorola has improved its performance with the new update.

Moto phones keep on getting better nowadays, the biggest problem with Moto is they don't have their basic apps like calling, SMS, photo gallary and don't even see any file manager application ... Everything is on Google software... They have to come up with their own application for basics... I m using Moto Edge 40. Phone is really nice and very good camera

Bhaiya you are the first one who mentioned about the social media camera optimisation!!! Till now only Apple, Google (Pixel) and Samsung were the only ones to partner with these brands who actually took the maximum usage of the camera but thanks for mentioning coz it's actually a big deal when the algorithm works according which was set by the brand and it's actually a huge impact. I know since I've seen the quality of iPhones and some others like pixel and Samsung which takes full advantage of the algorithm
Just got my Moto edge 50 pro 4 days ago...got it for 24k after exchanging my old phone(redmi note 10 pro) Absolutely amazing phone,the in-hand feel is so good , display is amazing,UI is smooth and camera is much improved. Just one complaint though that the haptics are not up the mark.. Lastly it smells nice thanks the Moto applying perfume to the box😅
Buddy how can you even exclude x6 pro from the 25k segment? It has great display, great speakers, excellent performance, lpddr5x ram with ufs 4.0 storage, decent cameras. In 25k segment, this phone is undoubtedly one of best probably no.1 or 2 depending upon your needs. (Nord ce4 can be no.1 if your preference is OnePlus and can compromise on performance)

I bought it for 26k, and I've used many phones in the past, such as the S21 FE 888 version. I can surely say that it's the best overall phone around this price, second only to the S21 FE. It's like the modern S21 FE with all the improvements we need from that phone.
I purchased Motorola Edge 50 Pro in October 24. I got a 125W charger with it. The phone heats up a lot while charging and the battery drains very quickly. The optimized charging is not working properly and there is no option to reset it. If the battery is not good then what should I do with this mobile? Its low Watt charger is also not available in the market. When I talked about this for the first time then Motorola team told me- "Could you test the device in Safe Mode and inform me if it functions the same way? Safe Mode will launch the device without any third-party apps active. To enter Safe Mode, press the physical power button, tap and hold Power off, and select OK when the option to Reboot to Safe Mode shows up. Restart the device to exit Safe Mode. Thank you -XYZ". When nothing works, the battery will not drain anyway 🤔. I don't recommend anyone else to buy this edge series.
I had a moto edge 40. It was a nice phone for few months and then the updates are slow and security patch updates were full of bugs and glitches. Once my charging port got malfunctioned, i had gone to service centre where they had charged me Rs 1600 to replace the part for a warranty phone and within a month, the port got again malfunctioned and I had to replace it again for which they haven't charged the money. Later on the phone was heating and had other bugs and glitch problems during the updates. I didn't had a good experience with motorola. If they work upon their after sales service and update fixes and major thing is upon the camera, it might bring a change.
The only problem what motorola have is that they launch the phone and also advertise it on all platforms. But don't really sell it. I mean like, I've been waiting to buy to this phone on flipkart, but it is always "coming soon". I mean when are you planning to sell it? They might loose the potential customers to poor marketing services.

After 1 week of use.. Cons- 1. Too much heating just after 10 minutes of use.. side me metal frame hai isliye Syd aur jyada heat pta chl rha. 2. When you play 4k video in full screen you see screen defect, just above the camera notch ek alag trah ki light aati hai upar se, maybe it's manufacturing defect. I complained but no response as expected. 3. Battery to din me 2 baar charge karni pdti hai. 4. Phone thoda jarurat se jyada lamba hai to if you have small hands to hath me balanced feel nhi hoga. 5. Phone lag rha hai.. screen freez kr rhi hai.. sometimes no response to any touch. 6. Apps crash kr rhe hai , 1 week me 4-6 baar ho chuka hai. 7. Screen protector is of cheap quality aur pre-applied bhi nhi hai. 8. 5g to 4g switch kr ja rha hai khud se aur fir jaldi 5g me change bhi nhi ho rha Pros- camera is good, screen quality is jabardast, sound b bdhiya hai. Quick charging, even you can have moderate gaming.. I installed 30 GB game and it's running smoothly...
Compare it with s21 fe 888 please, as that also has a telephoto camera. Just want a good telephoto camera at the lowest price. You can include other options in the comparision as well like from vivo. Thank you
. I studied after my comment. There are many advantages with samsung over moto. Processor power, storage version greater, camera, quality software updates, lower service centre part costs and better display tuning. Advantages in moto is that processor is 7 series so you will get better battery backup as it will more efficient. Other advantages are there but only minor, which wont matter that much. I would go with samsung
Moto has claimed that their UFS 2.2 on thus phone is on par with UFS, 3.1 and many youtubers checked it and it was proved right. It performed even better than some phones
Hi Sanchit, I am facing an issue with the display on my Moto Edge 50 Pro. According to the specifications on Motorola's official website, this model features a pOLED display. My understanding is that with a pOLED display, pixels should turn off completely when displaying black, providing true black levels and conserving power. However, I have observed that when the display color mode is set to "Natural" or "Radiant," the pixels do not turn off when displaying black images or black parts of the screen. The pixels only turn off correctly when the color mode is set to "Vivid." Unfortunately, the "Vivid" setting boosts the colors excessively, which is not my preferred viewing mode. Could you please suggest what should I do in this case?

I've been using an Egde 30 Ultra with a 125 Watt charger for the past 2 years. It's a game changer and the battery has been spot on. The best part is I now carry just 1 charger while traveling and I charge my MacBook with the same charger. Charge my nothing ear buds with the same charger.
Not having HDR in Netflix is pretty logical for Motorola. Netflix only allows you to have that HDR certification if you give Netflix as pre-installed in your smartphone. But Motorola keep a blotware free UI so it can't have that.

I prefer near stock Android or stock android phones . That narrows down choices to very few phones . Moto being the only decent phones in budget segment . Purchased moto G52 last year Phone is great but display green line issue kicked in after security update . Being under warranty went on to search service centre ,realised there isnt one in my state . And the centre which moto describes as authorised centre are nothing but parceling unit which sends the phone to other state ,in my case to chennai . Thereby time to repair the phone is anywhere between 2week to 1 months . Now u decide
Apparently there was a small scratch over body panel ... The rejected the warranty stateing that the phone had physical damage. Filed a complaint in consumer redressal forum.... But no help. One can see from the motorola's perspective of Indian market that they hardly care for after sales service. They are busy in launching new phones everyday. 😂 Apparently they are selling Moto edge 40 and 40 neo in the same price price of newly launched Moto edge 50 neo and Pro. . Motorola provides brand authorised extended warranty in other countries, one can see the same in their official website. But in India no such thing, which strengthens my perception that the Motorola hardly cares for after sales service. The best option for any Motorola phone users if to sell their phone in exchange offer, after the warranty is over.

To enter Safe Mode, press the physical power button, tap and hold Power off, and select OK when the option to Reboot to Safe Mode shows up. Restart the device to exit Safe Mode. Thank you -XYZ". When nothing works, the battery will not drain anyway 🤔. I don't recommend anyone else to buy this edge series.

I had a moto edge 40. It was a nice phone for few months and then the updates are slow and security patch updates were full of bugs and glitches. Once my charging port got malfunctioned, i had gone to service centre where they had charged me Rs 1600 to replace the part for a warranty phone and within a month, the port got again malfunctioned and I had to replace it again for which they haven't charged the money. Later on the phone was heating and had other bugs and glitch problems during the updates. I didn't had a good experience with motorola. If they work upon their after sales service and update fixes and major thing is upon the camera, it might bring a change.

The only problem what motorola have is that they launch the phone and also advertise it on all platforms. But don't really sell it. I mean like, I've been waiting to buy to this phone on flipkart, but it is always "coming soon". I mean when are you planning to sell it? They might loose the potential customers to poor marketing services.

After 1 week of use..
Cons-
1. Too much heating just after 10 minutes of use.. side me metal frame hai isliye Syd aur jyada heat pta chl rha.
2. When you play 4k video in full screen you see screen defect, just above the camera notch ek alag trah ki light aati hai upar se, maybe it's manufacturing defect. I complained but no response as expected.
3. Battery to din me 2 baar charge karni pdti hai.
4. Phone thoda jarurat se jyada lamba hai to if you have small hands to hath me balanced feel nhi hoga.
5. Phone lag rha hai.. screen freez kr rhi hai.. sometimes no response to any touch.
6. Apps crash kr rhe hai , 1 week me 4-6 baar ho chuka hai.
7. Screen protector is of cheap quality aur pre-applied bhi nhi hai.
8. 5g to 4g switch kr ja rha hai khud se aur fir jaldi 5g me change bhi nhi ho rha
Pros- camera is good, screen quality is jabardast, sound b bdhiya hai.
Quick charging, even you can have moderate gaming.. I installed 30 GB game and it's running smoothly...
Ye sare youtubers bike hue hai, 1% ka issue bata kr 99% tareef krte hai aur mind me indirectly interest create krte hai.

. I studied after my comment. There are many advantages with samsung over moto. Processor power, storage version greater, camera, quality software updates, lower service centre part costs and better display tuning. Advantages in moto is that processor is 7 series so you will get better battery backup as it will more efficient. Other advantages are there but only minor, which wont matter that much. I would go with samsung

Hi Sanchit, I am facing an issue with the display on my Moto Edge 50 Pro. According to the specifications on Motorola's official website, this model features a pOLED display. My understanding is that with a pOLED display, pixels should turn off completely when displaying black, providing true black levels and conserving power.
However, I have observed that when the display color mode is set to "Natural" or "Radiant," the pixels do not turn off when displaying black images or black parts of the screen. The pixels only turn off correctly when the color mode is set to "Vivid." Unfortunately, the "Vivid" setting boosts the colors excessively, which is not my preferred viewing mode.
Could you please suggest what should I do in this case?

Not having HDR in Netflix is pretty logical for Motorola. Netflix only allows you to have that HDR certification if you give Netflix as pre-installed in your smartphone. But Motorola keep a blotware free UI so it can't have that.

Phone is great but display green line issue kicked in after security update .
Being under warranty went on to search service centre ,realised there isnt one in my state .
And the centre which moto describes as authorised centre are nothing but parceling unit which sends the phone to other state ,in my case to chennai .
Thereby time to repair the phone is anywhere between 2week to 1 months .

Apparently there was a small scratch over body panel ... The rejected the warranty stateing that the phone had physical damage.
Filed a complaint in consumer redressal forum.... But no help.
One can see from the motorola's perspective of Indian market that they hardly care for after sales service.
They are busy in launching new phones everyday.
😂 Apparently they are selling Moto edge 40 and 40 neo in the same price price of newly launched Moto edge 50 neo and Pro.
. Motorola provides brand authorised extended warranty in other countries, one can see the same in their official website.
But in India no such thing, which strengthens my perception that the Motorola hardly cares for after sales service.
The best option for any Motorola phone users if to sell their phone in exchange offer, after the warranty is over.
PUBG ka example wrong tha bcoz hig resolution pe refresh rate max hi rehta hai, agar aap low pe rakhenge toh 90fps wala option deta hai, 90fps wala option sirf high Wale ko available nahi hai
